Yes! Nothing like seeing it live at first I didn't even know how to handle it hahahaha. And I confess that when the father saw it, he asked me to make it disappear.
As for the after-effects, none! Just avoid exposure to the sun for a long time.

Pretty natural response I reckon. I wonder if it will affect the feelings raising the child at least for some months or years as you remember that moment. Traumatic for sure! But it also might make them even more protective and loving.

The psychology behind it maybe pretty interesting too. Good write up!

At the beginning, yes. The baby's father once confessed to me in tears that he was sorry he had asked me to do that and that he would forgive him. Nowadays, however, he loves and adores his son. And within their meager financial means they keep their son well cared for.
