Uber and Lyft ride sharing services no longer require masks in the US

Uber and Lyft no longer require drivers and riders to wear masks. That is smart - the masks don't help all that much especially in an enclosed space as whatever pathogens you breathe in and out fill the space after a short while, mask or no mask.

The change follows a judge's order on the constitutionality of the Biden administration's transportation mask order. That is also a welcome development. Unfortunately, any serious effort in society to review the rationality and legality of the whole pandemic response - and this effort is way overdue.

We still wear mask in public transport, markets etc. However, people have already removed mask in their mind since some don't follow it.
