Hello, pet lovers! 😁
Since I was a child, I've felt a great attraction to pets. I've had birds, turtles, fish, pigeons, guinea pigs, and, of course, dogs.
This is my dog, Lara; she's 3 years old.
There have always been pets in my house. A home without pets must feel empty, regardless of how many people live there.
I can't imagine what it would be like without them. I've always had a pet under my care (or my mother's, when I was a child).
Pets bring nothing but joy to a home. Yes, it's true that it's a huge responsibility, but that's the least of it. We have dozens of other responsibilities that don't bring as much joy and happiness as pets.
They even keep us warm when it's cold and think the bed is theirs.
There are several in my house. There's Lara, who's mine, but there's also Sissy, my mom's Prague Rat Terrier.
She's the oldest, she's already 13 years old, and she thinks she's Lara's mom.
I adore dogs, as I've already mentioned. Lara is like my little girl. However, there are others who have also stolen my heart.
Their names are Amaterasu and Nefertiti.
They are two cats I adopted because my wife wanted a cat... but there were two sisters when I went to adopt them, and I didn't have the heart to separate them.
So, we kept both of them.
For someone who's had dogs their whole life, discovering this love for cats has been a real revelation.
To the point of having Nefertiti as my phone's wallpaper 😂.
I brought them home when they were very young, and it was the best decision I've made in a long time. My wife was expecting a cat, and I surprised her with two.
These are two very affectionate cats. We've accustomed them to being with us since they were kittens. They even sleep with us.
However, these animals have an incredible hunting instinct. They are both excellent hunters. No mouse, frog, lizard, insect, or butterfly can escape them. They are affectionate, but deadly in that regard.
And I wasn't the only one in love with cats. I was very surprised when my mother rescued Musa. She had been abandoned by a family who emigrated to Mexico and left her behind.
Musa is beautiful, like all cats, and very affectionate.
Since becoming a cat "dad" and discovering this feline universe, completely new to me, there isn't a stray cat I don't want to pet.

I almost took him home with me 😸.
I didn't do it just in case. I'm not sure if he's actually a stray. He's very well cared for and affectionate.
That's just how house cats are.
But, if I find out he's a stray or that they don't want him, I'll bring him home and he can join the family.
In the end, the more the merrier.
That way I just add happiness and joy to the house. Don't you think?

Hola, amigos de las mascotas 😁.
Desde niño he sentido gran atracción por las mascotas. He tenido pajaritos, jicoteas, peces, palomas, curieles y, por supuesto, perros.
Esta de aquí es mi perra Lara, tiene 3 años.
En mi casa siempre han habido mascotas. Un hogar sin mascotas se debe sentir vacío, independientemente de la cantidad de personas que hayan.
No me imagino cómo podría ser. Siempre he tenido alguna mascota bajo mi responsabilidad (o la de mi madre, mientras fui niño).
Las mascotas solo traen alegría al hogar. Sí, es cierto que es una responsabilidad inmensa, pero es lo de menos. Nosotros tenemos decenas de otras responsabilidades que no traen tanta alegría y felicidad como las mascotas.
Incluso nos abrigan cuando es tiempo de frío y se creen que la cama es de ellas.
En mi casa hay varias. Está Lara, que es mía, pero también está Sissy, la ratonera de Praga de mi mamá.
Es la más viejita, ya tiene 13 años y se cree la mamá de Lara.
Adoro a los perros, ya les dije. Lara es como mi hija pequeña. Sin embargo, hay otras que también me han robado mi corazón.
Ellas se llaman Amateratsu y Nefertiti.
Ellas son dos gatas que adopté debido a que mi esposa quería una gata... pero habían dos hermanitas cuando fui a adoptar y no tuve corazón para separarlas.
De modo que, nos quedamos con las dos.
Para alguien que toda su vida ha tenido perros, descubrir ese amor por los gatos ha sido toda una revelación.
Hasta el punto de tener a Nefertiti de fondo de pantalla del celular 😂.
Las traje desde muy pequeñas a la casa y fue la mejor decisión que he tomado en mucho tiempo. Mi esposa esperaba una gata y la sorprendí con dos.
Son dos gatas muy cariñosas. Desde pequeñas las adaptamos a estar junto a nosotros. Hasta duermen con nosotros.
Sin embargo, es increíble el instinto que tienen estos animales. Ambas son grandes cazadoras. No hay ratón, rana, lagartija, insectos o mariposas que se les escapen.
Son cariñosas, pero letales por ese lado.
Y yo no fui el único enamorado de los gatos. Me llevé una gran sorpresa cuando mi madre rescató a Musa. Ella había sido abandonada por una familia que emigró a México y la dejó atrás.
Musa es hermosa, como todos los gatos, y muy cariñosa.
Desde que soy “padre” de gatos y descubrí ese universo felino, totalmente nuevo para mí, no hay gato callejero que no quiera acariciar.
Como este de aquí.
Poco faltó para que me lo llevara para mi casa 😸.
No lo hice por las dudas. No estoy seguro que sea callejero en realidad. Está muy bien cuidado y es cariñoso.
Así solo son los gatos caseros.
Pero, de enterarme que es de la calle o que no lo quieren, lo traigo a casa y que se sume a la familia.
Al final, mientras más sean mejor.
Así solo sumo felicidad y alegría a la casa. ¿No lo creen?
