La navidad es una fecha especial, para todos o por lo menos para gran parte de las personas alrededor del mundo, nos encanta compartir con nuestras familias y amigos, pero si tenemos un o unos animalitos de compañía en casa, que a menudo son considerados parte de la familia, pues entonces ellos también forman parte de la celebración, les cuidamos de la pirotecnia que tanto terror les causa y adicionalmente les podemos comprar o elaborar prendas, para que las luzcan en estas fechas, en mi caso, también les hago cacería, por si quieren atentar en contra de la integridad del árbol de navidad, ya que tengo gatos, sobre esta atracción de los gatos por el arbolito ya dedique una publicación la reciente creación de esta comunidad Hive Pets (@hive-196708) me encanta, pues es un lugar donde todos los que tenemos animales de compañía, podemos expresar los momentos vividos junto a ellos, además de que en mi caso como proteccionista, puedo dar a conocer otros aspectos como enfermedades, la evolución de gatos a los que he rescatado o ayudado, tips de cuidado, en fin, pero hoy vengo expresamente a participar en el concurso de navidad de la comunidad, si deseas conocer más acerca del mismo por aquí te comparto el enlace para que puedas tu mismo ver de que se trata y cuales son las reglas.
La llegada de la navidad en casa para mi implica colocar el árbol de navidad, ¡esto me encanta!, pase un buen tiempo comprando cada año algo de decoración para lograr verlo como yo quería y me vi obligada a seguir comprando cuando en compañía de mi abuela decidimos cambiar el árbol por uno mas grande, lo que implica más de todo, luces adornos, flores, bambalinas, entre otros, pero con lo que no conté es que este nuevo árbol también sería más llamativo para mis hijos felinos, cada uno de ellos ha tenido que ser reprendido para que no lo dejen vuelto nada, ya que al ser de diferentes edades, desde 16 hasta un año, cada año me ha tocado enseñar a uno nuevo. No negaré que me da risa ver como corren, se meten por el centro del árbol y luego sacan su cabeza entre las flores y ramas, pero me dañan las luces que no están para nada baratas.
Este año en particular coloque un adorno en la ventana de la casa y las dos más pequeñas Greta y Rusa, simplemente lo tomaron como su pasarela de modas y aunque estaba bien fijado a la ventana, termine quitandolo, ya que primero me daba terror que se cayeran y segundo estaban destrozando la cinta.
Otro personaje con el que gusta disfrutar la navidad es mi amado Señor Gato a quien desde hace aproximadamente tres años, se le viste de gala para Navidad y/o Año Nuevo ya sea con una corbata o este año con un traje de gala, que pueden apreciar en estas fotos, él fue nombrado modelo felino de una cuenta de instagram donde elaboran ropa para perros y gatos, camitas, bolsos, entre otros, el nombre la cuenta es @mascotiness, si estas en Venezuela y Colombia realiza tu pedido y muy amablemente te lo harán llegar.
Señor Gato ya es conocido por vecinos y amigos por estar elegantemente vestido en estas fechas y como él realmente tiene todo el porte de un Señor pues luce muy bien, la familia lo ama y está realmente muy mimado.
Lo que si es una preocupación para mi y toda mi familia es la pirotecnia, sabemos que para los animales no es nada agradable los sonidos que esta produce y tengo varios años realizando campaña para sensibilizar a las personas acerca del daño que causa no solo a los animales, los niños autistas son especialmente sensibles a los fuegos artificiales, los gatos aunque no lo muestran tan abiertamente como los gatos se pueden estresar mucho con este sonido si son muy nerviosos como mi Pocholo y si son como Greta, muy curiosos y atrevidos pues corren el peligro de ser heridos al correr tras las luces, esta noche buena me vi obligada a recluirla en la habitación conmigo porque ella quería correr a buscar las luces que veía brillar.
Así son mis navidades junto a mis hijos peludos espero disfruten las fotos algunas son más recientes que otras,me retiro y se les quiere un montón, si lo desean me pueden dejar un comentario.

The arrival of Christmas at home for me means putting up the Christmas tree, I love it! I spent a good time buying every year some decoration to be able to see it as I wanted and I was forced to continue buying when in company of my grandmother we decided to change the tree for one bigger, which implies more of everything, lights adornments, flowers, scenes, among others, but with what I did not count is that this new tree would also be more attractive for my feline children, each one of them has had to be reprimanded so that they do not leave it turned anything, since to the being of different ages, from 16 to a year, every year has had to me to teach a new one. I won't deny that it makes me laugh to see how they run, get into the center of the tree and then stick their heads out among the flowers and branches, but I am damaged by the lights that are not at all cheap.
This year in particular I placed an ornament in the window of the house and the two smaller Greta and Rusa, simply took it as their fashion show and although it was well fixed to the window, I ended up removing it, as first I was terrified they would fall and second they were tearing the ribbon.
Another character that I like to enjoy Christmas with is my beloved Señor Gato who for about three years has been dressed up for Christmas and/or New Year either with a tie or this year with a gala suit, which you can see in these photos, he was named feline model of an instagram account where they make clothes for dogs and cats, little beds, bags, among others, the name of the account is @mascotiness, if you are in Venezuela and Colombia place your order and they will kindly send it to you.
Mr. Cat is already known by neighbors and friends for being elegantly dressed on these dates and as he really has all the poise of a Lord because he looks great, the family loves him and is really very spoiled.
What is a concern for me and my whole family is the pyrotechnics, we know that for the animals is not nice the sounds that it produces and I have several years conducting a campaign to raise awareness about the damage it causes not only to animals, autistic children are especially sensitive to fireworks, Cats, even though they don't show it as openly as cats, can get very stressed out by this sound if they are very nervous like my Pocholo and if they are like Greta, very curious and daring because they run the risk of being hurt when they run after the lights, this good night I was forced to confine her in the room with me because she wanted to run to find the lights I saw shining.

Me fascinó Señor Gato, se ve espectacular y elegante con su traje, ¡precioso! Puedo decirte que unas de las cosas positivas que trajo esta pandemia, es que pude quedarme en casa, sin tener que ir a otros sitios a celebrar, y esto implicó que estuviese con mis hijos gatunos y perrunos, y pude confortarles y estar con ellos a la hora de la pirotecnia. Si la gente entendiese, aunque fuese un poquito del terrible daño que estos artefactos le generan a los animales en general, de seguro dejarían de usarlos, además que considero, son antieconómicos; pues no tiene sentido alguno destinar una buena suma de dinero en comprar cosas tan efímeras e inútiles como los fuegos artificiales.
