Maltrato, todos hemos escuchado o leído está palabra y en ocasiones hemos sido maltratados física o verbalmente por alguien, pero aunque no creas los seres humanos no somos los únicos que podemos sufrir de maltrato, los animales también pueden ser y muchas veces son, víctimas de maltrato y no hablo solo de un golpe o un grito hablo de cosas de las que al enterarnos no creímos que podrían ser posibles. Lo primero es aclarar que es maltrato animal, el cual viene acompañado de violencia y crueldad, voy a compartir con ustedes los dos conceptos que encontré en internet sobre ellos para que si no tienen una idea tengan más claro de que se trata.

La violencia es “un acto intencional que puede ser único o recurrente y cíclico, dirigido a dominar, controlar, agredir o lastimar a otros. Casi siempre es ejercida por las personas de mayor jerarquía, es decir, las que tienen el poder en una relación, pero también se puede ejercer sobre objetos, animales o contra sí mismo”.

La crueldad es “una respuesta emocional de indiferencia o la obtención de placer en el sufrimiento o dolor de otros, o la acción que innecesariamente causa tal sufrimiento; ha sido considerada un disturbio sicológico. La crueldad de los niños, que incluye a los animales, es un signo clínico relacionado a desórdenes antisociales y de conducta”.

Ahora, que ya tienes una idea de que te hablo, podría narrarte cualquiera cantidad de historias de maltrato animal, tanto de Venezuela como de otras latitudes, de hecho compartí aquí dos casos que fueron muy sonados por prensa.

Hace unas semanas un degenerado lanzó una gata embarazada desde un piso 20, ella logró agarrarse de un tendedero de ropa del piso siguiente y este monstruo le lanzo agua para que terminar de provocar su caída. Efectivamente ella se soltó y murió.

Estos son sólo algunos de los casos que conocemos o logran llegar a oídos o vista de alguien, hay cualquier cantidad de casos de maltrato a animales domésticos por no hablar de los de cría para consumo., que en muchas ocasiónes ocurren ante la mirada cómplice de familiares y vecinos, amigos, y hasta maestros, que se hacen la vista gorda para evitar posibles conflictos con el maltratador o ellos consideran que proteccionistas y entes son los que deben tomar cartas en el asunto.

Muchos publican un vídeo o fotos en redes sociales y creen que eso es una denuncia o que con eso basta, tambien llaman o escriben a protecciónistas o fundaciones y les comentan lo que está sucediendo y algunos hasta de forma grosera te indican que debes acudir al rescate, sin saber si se tienen las herramientas mínimas para atender el caso.

Ahora bien, en Venezuela la Ley de Protección de la Fauna Doméstica Libre y en Cautiverio de 2010 nos indica claramente en su articulo 66 lo siguiente:

Para efectos de la aplicación de sanciones, se entenderán por actos de crueldad, los siguientes:

Los que causen al animal dolores, sufrimientos o que afecten su salud.

Los que descuiden la morada y las condiciones de movilidad, higiene y albergue que atenten las condiciones del óptimo animal.

La muerte utilizando un medio que provoque agonía prolongada.

Cualquier mutilación orgánicamente grave que no se efectúe por necesidad y bajo el control veterinario.

Ahora bien, te estarás preguntándo , ¿A dónde debo acudir ante un caso de maltrato animal aquí les comparto esta excelente publicación que encontré y que de manera excelente te explica cómo hacerlo. Adicionalmente te hago saber que el Ministerio Publico de Venezuela creo una Fiscalía ante tantos casos de maltrato animal.

Si estás en otro país en muchos se han dado grandes pasos en pro de la defensa de los animales, quienes no tienen voz para defenderse sólos, ahora sí en tu país todavía falta camino por recorrer y deseas ayudar puedes informarte con asociaciones y acerca de la legislación vigente y puedas aportar tu grano de arena.

Te preguntaras, ¿Por qué ayudas a lo animales? Hay niños huérfanos, existen ancianos solitos, en fin tantas cosas y mencionare lo que me dijo alguien una vez de manera bien grosera:"andá a parir más hijos".

Lo primero que diré hay muchas personas haciéndole daño a los animales, hacen falta más que hagan la diferencia, segundo cada ser humano tiene un propósito y decide que hacer, yo me incline por ayudarlos me hace sentir bien, felíz, rescatarlos , llevarlos a al veterinario, ver como evolucionan y se transforman con amor y alimentación,darles un hogar temporal y buscar una familia que los ame. Algunos de mis gatos llegaron a mi en calidad de temporal, un supuesto por ahora y aquí se quedaron.

El maltrato animal es real existe y aunque muchos tratan de ignorarlo o minimizarlo diciendo, pero es solo un perro o gato , el maltrato animal es un reflejo de la sociedad, de que tan bien o mal esta, además de mostrar la salud mental del agresor, que como les mencione en anteriores publicaciones muchos asesinos seriales entre otros comenzaron con maltrato animal .

Maltrato animal es dejar morir a un perro o gato de hambre y sed, encerrarlo en lugares inadecuados con poca movilidad y no acordé a su tamaño. Abandonar a un animal en la calle a su suerte es maltrato animal. Amarrarlos con cadenas y exponerlos a frío, sol, lluvia, golpearlos, herirlos, también es maltrato animal, entre muchos otros.

Now that you have an idea of what I'm talking about, I could tell you any number of stories of animal abuse, both from Venezuela and other latitudes, in fact I shared here two cases that were very loud in the press.

A few weeks ago a degenerate threw a pregnant cat from a 20th floor, she managed to grab a clothesline on the next floor and this monster threw water on her to make her fall. She effectively let go and died.

These are just some of the cases that we know or manage to reach the ears or eyes of someone, there are any number of cases of abuse of pets not to mention those of breeding for consumption, which often occur before the complicit eyes of family and neighbors, friends, and even teachers, who turn a blind eye to avoid possible conflicts with the abuser or they consider that protectionists and entities are the ones who should take action on the matter.

Many publish a video or photos on social networks and believe that this is a complaint or that this is enough, they also call or write to protectionists or foundations and tell them what is happening and some even rudely tell you that you should come to the rescue, without knowing if they have the minimum tools to deal with the case.

Now, in Venezuela, the Law for the Protection of Free and Captive Domestic Fauna of 2010 clearly indicates in its article 66 the following:

For the purposes of the application of sanctions, the following shall be understood as acts of cruelty:

Those that cause the animal pain, suffering or that affect its health.

Those that neglect the housing and the conditions of mobility, hygiene and shelter that attempt the conditions of the optimal animal.

The death using a means that causes prolonged agony.

Any organically serious mutilation that is not carried out by necessity and under veterinary control.

Now, you may be asking yourself, where should I go in case of animal mistreatment? Here I share with you this excellent publication that I found and that explains in an excellent way how to do it. Additionally I let you know that the Public Ministry of Venezuela created a Prosecutor's Office to deal with so many cases of animal abuse.

If you are in another country, many great steps have been taken in favor of the defense of animals, who have no voice to defend themselves alone, now if in your country there is still a long way to go and you want to help, you can inform yourself with associations and about the current legislation and you can contribute your grain of sand.

You may ask yourself, why do you help animals? There are orphaned children, there are lonely old people, so many things and I will mention what someone once told me in a very rude way, "go and give birth to more children".

The first thing I will say is that there are many people hurting animals, more people are needed to make a difference, secondly every human being has a purpose and decides what to do, I am inclined to help them, it makes me feel good, happy, rescue them, take them to the vet, see how they evolve and transform with love and food, give them a temporary home and find a family that loves them. Some of my cats came to me on a temporary basis, a supposed for now and here they stayed.

Animal abuse is real and although many try to ignore it or minimize it by saying, but it is only a dog or cat, animal abuse is a reflection of society, of how good or bad it is, besides showing the mental health of the aggressor, as I mentioned in previous publications many serial killers among others began with animal abuse.

Animal abuse is to let a dog or cat die of hunger and thirst, to lock it up in inadequate places with little mobility and not according to its size. Abandoning an animal in the street to its fate is animal abuse. Tying them up with chains and exposing them to cold, sun, rain, beating them, hurting them, is also animal abuse, among many others.
