You are so smart! He is part husky. Also Labrador and golden retriever, among other breeds. I know huskies are very social and are attached to their 'people'. In this case, the dog has so many members of the family. He is most attached to my daughter, but really has bonded with all of us.
My daughter dedicates a lot of time to giving that dog exercise and social contact. Maybe that's why he is such a successful member of the household.

I once had a Golden Retriever with a quarter Malamute (mom was half Malamute). She went everywhere with me, and was the best I've ever seen at reading people. She was unlike either breed in many ways, and yet did possess the best traits from both of them as well.

Oh, and the cat play is a lab husky mix thing, he'll probably never give up 🤣 Huskies especially tend to ignore physical pain if there's a good reason to push through it.
