Raising chickens is not just a hobby; it is also a business that can be profitable. In winter, their eggs are sold for 500 to 600 rupees per dozen. If a small child has a cough, fever, or cold, then boiling eggs and feeding them protects them from cough, fever, and cold. Apart from this, the halwa made from these eggs is also a very delicious winter recipe.
Last night, there was heavy rain, and due to the storm, a large number of leaves fell from the berry tree. When the rain stopped in the morning and the rain stopped, I took the chicks and hens out of their cage so that they could eat the seeds of the day.
The chicks have started playing in these leaves. If one chick catches something in its beak, the others run after it. This game of theirs continues for a long time. They are very naughty and do not get caught by anyone.
The chickens have taken the responsibility of raising the chicks separately. A hen is in charge of four chicks, including eight chicks. Another hen has eight chicks. If any of the chicks goes to the other hen, she starts killing them.
Both hens are feeding their chicks separately. Some of them start digging up the soil with their feet and try to find insects and moths among them.
A rooster has also come with them, who is watching this spectacle. Sometimes the rooster becomes a statue after seeing things, and this scene looks strange.
After walking the hens and chicks around in the open air for about half an hour, I have now decided to take them to the box because it is also their home and a safe place where they can be protected from any animal like a cat or a dog so that they cannot harm the hens or chicks.
This is another chicken whose color is brown and its two chicks are yellow. They have different breeds and identities. This one also carries its two things separately in the open ground. Wherever the chicken goes, the chicks run after it and are also busy filling their stomachs.
There are many benefits of raising chickens, especially young ones. They like them very much and they like playing with them. When they grow up, they also fulfill the need for eggs and chicken. If their soup is made in winter, it removes your cold and provides strength to the body.
I hope you like today's post about chicks. Do contact me in the comment section and see you in the next blog.
