AssalamuAlaikum & Greetings Everyone!

It's me @amjadsharif

This is the second part of the chicken coop. In our previous post, we built this coop with mortar and bricks.

In this part of the post, we will install a window net and a roof, which will act as a ventilation system. The net protects the chicks and chickens from wild animals and cats.

We need bamboo to build the roof of this coop. I have taken four bamboos. In addition, I need some small bamboo or wood to strengthen the roof. I have started tying them tightly with a wire with the help of a tool so that they do not move.

Now we will spread thin bamboo on them and put the waste of the grain on top of it so that there is no space left in it.

I have taken a plastic sheet, which I have spread on the roof, covered it with mortar, and put light soil on it so that the rain can fall. Apart from preventing water from entering, it will also provide shade to protect the chickens from the heat and sun.

The temperature of this box is normal because it has been made with the help of raw bricks and mortar has been used to strengthen it, so it provides natural temperature.

Now the stage of net installation begins. Bottle caps and nails were used for this. I set the netting in the window area and nailed it so that it becomes strong and no animal can enter inside. The purpose of installing the netting is to allow air and light to enter.

In the evening, a hen and a rooster were left in this box and they spent the whole night in their new home. This is my first experience in making this box. Before that, I had made a small box which was not so beautiful. I have made two rooms and a hall in it. It is quite an open space and is also ventilated. I have a builanone-sided room without a window so that it is protected from wind and cold in winter.

Two chickens have hatched, one of which has three to four eggs that are yet to hatch, and a chicken has laid chicks under it, from which the chicks have hatched, and they are very cute, and their color is also very cute.

When I go to the chickens and try to touch their chicks, they don't let me come close and get angry. I hope you like this and you will definitely discuss it with me in the comment section.
