Este perico también llamado periquito gorgimoreno, esta hermosa ave es muy vista en los llanos, aún en casas tienen estás bellezas. Su nombre científico es Eupsittula pertinax, pertenece a la familia de los loros.
Mide aproximadamente hasta 20 centímetros,son de colores amarillo,azul,verde,rojo-naranja. Su alimentación es de flores y frutas. Llegan hasta poner hasta 12 huevos.

A este hermoso perico podemos en casa enseñarle hablar,pero solo palabras básicas como hola, adiós,buenas. Así una vez que hayan aprendido se le amplia el vocabulario hasta pueden llegar a cantar una canción. A pesar de que luego hablen demasiados son una ternura.

We can teach this beautiful parakeet at home to speak, but only basic words such as hello, goodbye, good. So once they have learned their vocabulary is expanded until they can sing a song. Despite the fact that too many talk later, they are cute.

In South East London Uk there are hundreds of wild green parakeets ! No one really knows how they started to breed there . There were none when I was a child !
