Alejandro, this is the name of the pet I will introduce today. Alejandro is a very intelligent cat. We rescued him from the street a little more than five months ago. There are many cats on the street and perhaps very little that two people can do for them. My sister and I are making valuable attempts, we will continue working as far as we can.
Alejandro, este es el nombre de la mascota que presentaré hoy. Alejandro es un gato muy inteligente. Lo rescatamos de la calle hace un poco más de cinco meses. Son muchos gatos en situación de calle y quizá muy poco lo que dos personas podamos hacer por ellos. Mi hermana y yo hacemos valiosos intentos, seguiremos trabajando hasta donde se pueda.
We named him Alejandro after a soap opera. This cat is a lover, he courts the cats and until he attracts them he doesn't stay still. That's how the actor of that soap opera was, hahaha.
Le pusimos el nombre de Alejandro por una telenovela. Este gato es un galán, corteja a las gatas y hasta que no las atrae no se queda quieto. Así era el actor de esa telenovela jajaja.
Alejandro is obedient, very neat and already knows every single thing we do for him. He likes to eat treats. We don't have extra income to buy special food for him but, we give him food that we get as gifts or from what we have at home. His favorite food is rice with sardines and rice with ground beef.
Alejandro es obediente, muy aseado y ya conoce cada cosas que hacemos por él. Le gusta comer chucherías. No tenemos ingresos extras para comprar alimento especial para él pero, le damos comida que nos regalan o de las que tenemos en casa. Su comida favorita es el arroz con sardina y arroz con carne molida.
As for grooming, Alejandro maintains his grooming habits. He does his business on the ground and then hides it. He grooms himself with his tongue when he feels dirty and seems to do it also when he sees a cat he is attracted to.
En cuanto al aseo, Alejandro mantiene sus hábitos. Hace sus necesidades sobre la tierra y luego la esconde. Se acicalan con su lengua cuando se siente sucio y pareciera que lo hace también cuando ve a una gata que le atraiga.
Alejandro has already won the affection of the family. He is super spoiled. He only waits for my sister or me to arrive to demand affection. He is able to fall asleep on my lap and spend as much time there as he likes. If he gets some cuddles... so much the better for him.
Ya Alejandro se ha ganado el cariño entre la familia. Es súper consentido. Solo espera que mi hermana o yo lleguemos para demandar cariño. Es capaz de dormirse encima de mis piernas y pasar el tiempo que mejor le parezca allí. Si se le da cariñito pues... mejor para él.
My pets are still dogs and cats. For me, having a pet means rescuing helpless animals from the streets to find them a home. It is a social action that implies taking them for a check-up, guaranteeing their health to offer them to people who know how to value them. Alejandro doesn't have an owner yet, he is still with me until someone wants to adopt him.
Mis mascotas siguen siendo perros y gatos. Para mi, tener una mascota implica rescatar de las calles animales indefensos para buscarles un hogar. Es una acción social que implica llevarlos a chequeo, garantizar su salud para ofrecerlo a personas que sepan valorarlo. Alejandro aún no tiene dueño, continúa conmigo hasta que alguna persona quiera adoptarlo.
Nothing has been more fulfilling to me than this job. My sister and I have joined together to carry out a humble cause. Our pets deserve dignified treatment. In a way I am grateful for the support of this #hivepets community because it gives me the opportunity to spread the word about pets. There are many people who have contacted me to know about the little animals and thank God we have been able to locate some of them quickly.
Nada ha podido llenarme más que este trabajo. Mi hermana y yo nos hemos unido para llevar a cabo una humilde causa. Nuestras mascotas merecen tratos dignos. En cierta manera agradezco el apoya de esta comunidad #hivepets porque me brinda la oportunidad de difundir información sobre las mascotas. Son muchas personas quienes me han contactado para saber de los pequeños animalitos y gracias a Dios hemos podido ubicar algunos de ellos rápidamente.
Alejandro is a happy, spoiled, responsible and independent cat. One of the characteristics of cats has to do with their self-confidence. Alejandro is educated, he knows when he can be with my sister or with me. While each of us is doing our own thing, Alejandro is also doing his own thing.
Alejandro es un gato feliz, mimado, responsable e independiente. Una de las característica de los gatos tiene que ver con la seguridad que manifiestan sobre sí mismos. Alejandro está educado, sabe cuando debe puede estar con mi hermana o conmigo. Mientras cada una realiza sus actividades, Alejandro también se ocupa de lo suyo.

Hermoso Alejandro <3 ojala le consigan un hogar pronto, es muy lindo y merece que alguien lo adopte y le de mucho amor, yo tuve un gato que se parecía mucho a Alejando , el estuvo conmigo 8 años y cada vez que veo un rayadito de ese color me da mucha nostalgia. Mis mejores deseos !
