Hello to everyone in the Hive Pets community! Today I bring you a new canine story, in this case, the protagonists are my Brandy and my Mia, who have been my pets for quite some time. Since we had moved to Puerto Ordaz, we had not had the time to be able to afford something they needed; going to the dog groomer. So three days ago we decided to finally go to the groomer to make the girls feel better. I tell you.
Ever since I learned how to bathe the puppies on my own, at home I was always the one who took care of hygiene issues for them; clinical baths, ear cleaning, combing and bathing. But one thing I could never get Brandy and Mia to agree to trim their nails with me. I tried every way; holding them with towels, using different dog nail clippers, teaching them the tool, with my husband's help, giving treats, etc. He never wanted to, so I decided to leave it to the groomers. And so every time they needed their nails trimmed we went to the same grooming center for puppies and kittens.

El día de hoy traigo una nueva historia canina, en este caso, las protagonistas son mí Brandy y mí Mía, quienes son mis mascotas desde hace ya bastante tiempo. Desde que nos habíamos mudado a Puerto Ordaz, no habiamos tenido el tiempo para poder solventar algo que ellas necesitaban; ir a la peluquería canina. Así que hace tres días decidimos ir por fin al peluquero para que las niñas de la casa se sintieran mejor. Les cuento.
Desde que aprendí cómo bañar a los perritos por mí propia cuenta, en casa siempre fuí quién atendía los asuntos de higiene para ellas; baños clínicos, limpieza de oídos, peinado y baño. Pero algo que nunca pude lograr con Brandy y Mía era que aceptarán cortarse las uñas conmigo. Lo intente de todas las formas; sosteniendo con toallas, utilizando diferentes cortaúñas para perros, enseñando el instrumento, con ayuda de mi esposo, dando premios, etc. Nunca quiso, así que decidí que está labor se la dejaría a los peluqueros. Y es así como cada que necesitaban cortar sus uñas íbamos al mismo centro de atención para perritos y gatitos.
But Brandy is about to turn 8 years old, and over time, she has become a bit of a fussbudget and although she has always let the groomers groom her nails, I was worried that the time with long nails would affect her. Her nails grow quite fast and she feels uncomfortable. Mia's grow a little less and slower. That is to say, she needs much more attention and care because of her age. As I mentioned above, between the thousand things of moving, adapting the house, work and money, time passed and we still had not been able to take them. Finally, we were able to solve the problem and take them to the hairdresser. And I couldn't be happier.
When I came to Puerto, I had a little dog named Doggy and he was taken care of by the same guy as Brandy. The salon is called EstilosKninos, that's where we took the girls. They were a little nervous because they didn't know the place or the young man but he is very attentive with the dogs and treated them with patience so they could stay calm while he attended to another client. We left them in his hands and after an hour and a half, we went to pick up the girls and they were as good as new. Pero Brandy está por cumplir 8 años de edad, con el tiempo, se a vuelto un poco chisquillosa y aunque siempre se a dejado asear con los peluqueros, me preocupaba que el tiempo con las uñas largas la afectara. Las uñas de ella crecen bastante rápido y ella se siente incómoda. A Mía le crecen un poco menos y más lento. Es decir, ella necesita mucha más atención y cuidados por la edad que tiene. Cómo comenté arriba, entre mil cosas de la mudanza, adecuar la casa, el trabajo y el dinero, el tiempo pasaba y todavía no habíamos podido llevarlas. Finalmente, pudimos solventar y llevarlas a con el peluquero. Y no podía estar más feliz.
Cuando yo venía a Puerto, tenía un perrito llamado Doggy y se atendía con el mismo chico que Brandy. La peluquería se llama EstilosKninos, allí llevamos a las niñas. Estaban algo nerviosas porque no conocían el lugar y tampoco al joven pero él es muy atento con los perritos y las trato con paciencia para que pudieran mantenerse calmadas mientras atendía a otro cliente. Las dejamos en sus manos y luego de una hora y media, fuimos a buscar a las niñas y estaban cómo nuevas. Brandy and Mía welcomed us happily. They left them gorgeous and I was very grateful for the ribbon they put on each one of them. Of course, the young man let me know that Brandy had some trouble getting her nails cut, but she was finally able to do the job. So that's how beautiful they went home, in a better mood than before. I must emphasize how important it is to pay attention to these details because at first I was afraid to cut their nails because I thought they could be rough and damage their paws. Especially since once a friend's neighbor had taken her poodle to the groomer and the groomer cut very high up, near the nerve and the dog was left with limping. Brandy y Mía nos recibieron felices. Las dejaron súper preciosas y me hacía mucha gracias el lazo que les colocaron a cada una. Eso sí, el joven me hizo saber que Brandy dió algo de guerra para cortarse las uñas pero finalmente pudo cumplir la labor. Así que así de bonitas volvieron a casa, con un mejor humor que antes. Debo recalcar lo importante que es prestar atención a estos detalles pues a mí al principio me daba miedo cortar sus uñas pues pensaba que podían ser bruscos y malograr sus patas. Sobre todo desde una vez que la vecina de una amiga había llevado a su perrito poodle al peluquero y este corto muy arriba, cerca del nervio y la perrita quedó cojeando. Fuera de eso, es una tarea que se debe hacer y que ellos agradecen. No me queda más que decirle que muchísimas gracias por pasar y leer mi publicación, les envío un fuerte abrazo.
