In fact, I dare say he was enjoying the bath, which is unusual for cats.

Mientras el tiempo pasaba, estuve ahí con bucky, jugando, haciéndole cariño y acaciriándo su pelaje todo mojado y lleno de jabón.
Contrario a lo que uno puede pensar, el gato estuvo tranquilo por diez minutos. Desde luego, lo cubrí con mis manos para darle calorcito, aunque no había problema porque el agua estaba a una temperatura cómoda para él.
De hecho, me atrevo a decir que estaba disfrutando del baño, algo poco común en gatos.

Como premio por su buen comportamiento, busqué una salchicha en la nevera y se la di.
Me dio mucha risa, porque se la di en su comedero pero apenas sintió el olor de la salchicha la tomó entre sus dientitos y salió corriendo al patio para comérsela lejos de Tchalla, mi otra gata que estaba al asecho.
It took me about an hour to bathe Bucky, from the time I started heating the water until he ate his sausage. The good thing is that at the date of writing this post, 3 days, I haven't found any other lice in his fur and he doesn't scratch like he used to.
The doctor recommended me to repeat the process in fifteen days, in case there are any eggs that have not died or are still there....
As you can see, Bucky is clean and beautiful, but more playful and spoiled than ever. That's his personality, he likes to be where I am, on me or on my laptop.
Tardé como una hora bañándo a Bucky, desde que comencé a calentar el agua hasta que comió su salchichca. Lo bueno es que a la fecha de haber escrito este post, 3 días, no le he encontrado ningún otro piojito en su pelaje y ya no se rasca como lo hacía.
El doctor me recomendó repetir el proceso dentro de quince días, en caso de que hayan huevos que no hayan muerto o sigan por allí...
Como ven, Bucky quedó limpio y precioso, pero más juguetón y consentido que nunca. Esa es su personalidad, le gusta estar donde estoy yo, encima de mi o encima de mi laptop.
