Pets make the family grow
Un saludo lleno de mucho cariño a todos mis Hivers, hoy les vengo hablar de cómo las mascotas hacen crecer a la familia. Pues cuando se asume la responsabilidad de abrigarlos en casa, estamos asumiendo el compromiso de cuidarlos y amarlos como un miembro más. En mi caso particular veo a las mascotas de mis hijos como mis nietas. Es impresionante el amor que somos capaces de desarrollar, tal como a los hijos, nietos o sobrinos, llegamos a disfrutar de estos hermosos animales que llegan a nuestras vidas a darnos momentos de alegrías, preocupaciones cuando enferman, nos hacen gritar a cada rato, por todas esas travesuras que hacen o nos roban un suspiro por una muestra de cariño o una mirada tierna, aunque a veces también nos manipulan.
A greeting full of love to all my Hivers, today I come to talk about how pets make the family grow. When we assume the responsibility of keeping them at home, we are assuming the commitment to take care of them and love them as another member of the family. In my particular case, I see my children's pets as my granddaughters. It is impressive the love that we are capable of developing, just like our children, grandchildren or nephews, we get to enjoy these beautiful animals that come into our lives to give us moments of joy, worries when they get sick, make us scream at all times, for all those pranks they do or steal a sigh for a token of affection or a tender look, although sometimes they also manipulate us.
En la foto de inicio ven a mis 2 hijos, Jeraldine con la inmensa Danna Paola, ya casi no puede con ella y Jonathan con la pequeña pero muy enérgica Nóbah. Cuando mi hijo viene de visita ellos se intercambian sus mascotas, para disfrutar un poco de cada una de ellas. Nóbah es muy inteligente, ya conoce el sonido del carro donde siempre llega su tío, se pone detrás de la puerta a esperar que haga su entrada, los brincos y su felicidad es muy notable. Se forma la fiesta para ella. A veces resulta que viene solo pero en otras ocasiones se trae a Danna, es allí donde todos tenemos que estar alerta, pues Nóbah sigue con su fama desde pequeña de ser una busca pleito y le quiere caer encima a Danna quien en momentos tiene que defenderse de sus ataques. Pero la verdad Danna Paola es muy tranquila, por aquí les muestro un vídeo de cuando eran muy pequeñas, nos dejaron a Danna a nuestro cuidado y ese día nos reímos demás.
In the picture below you can see my 2 children, Jeraldine with the huge Danna Paola, she is almost too big for her and Jonathan with the small but very energetic Nóbah. When my son comes to visit they exchange their pets, to enjoy a little of each one of them. Nóbah is very smart, she already knows the sound of the car where her uncle always arrives, she stands behind the door waiting for him to make his entrance, the jumping and her happiness is very noticeable. The party is formed for her. Sometimes he comes alone but sometimes he brings Danna with him, that's when we all have to be alert, because Nóbah continues with her fame of being a troublemaker and wants to fall on Danna who at times has to defend herself from his attacks. But the truth is that Danna Paola is very calm, here I show you a video of when they were very small, they left Danna in our care and that day we laughed a lot.
Para mí no resulta fácil jugar con ellas, por mi fibromialgia, cualquier roce implica algo de dolor o molestia, por eso pido auxilio para que me quiten de encima a Nóbah, pues a veces estoy acostada en el sofá viendo televisión y ella se pone muy juguetona y termina rasguñándome o mordiéndome sobre todo los pies y eso me causa una sensación de ardor en mi piel. Pero aún así la amo, considero que es mi compañerita para todo. No todo el tiempo es así, a veces es muy tierna, se coloca en mis piernas y pone su carita encima y allí duerme, o se sienta en la silla donde coloco mis piernas y me da unas miradas hermosas, es como si me hablara.
For me it is not easy to play with them, because of my fibromyalgia, any friction implies some pain or discomfort, so I ask for help to get Nóbah off me, because sometimes I'm lying on the couch watching TV and she gets very playful and ends up scratching or biting me especially my feet and that causes a burning sensation on my skin. But I still love her, I consider her to be my little companion for everything. Not all the time she is like that, sometimes she is very tender, she lies on my legs and puts her face on top of me and sleeps there, or she sits on the chair where I put my legs and gives me beautiful looks, it's like she is talking to me.
Otras veces simplemente se sube al sofá y en momentos la vemos mareada de sueño y allí queda rendida que no hay ruido que la despierte. Así como en estas fotos que les muestro del día de ayer.
Other times she simply climbs on the sofa and at times we see her dizzy from sleep and there she stays there, there is no noise that wakes her up. Just like in these pictures I show you from yesterday.
Casualmente ayer mi hija fue a inscribirse a la universidad y pasó mucho tiempo fuera de casa. La verdad Nóbah se porta muy bien cuando ella no está, pero si se le nota que siempre está en busca de su mami. Fue por eso que para consentirla le hice una comida especial que a ella le gusta mucho. Cuero de pollo, con trozos de zanahoria y auyama. Se lo pongo a cocinar y luego se le mezcla con la perrarina, aunque en la mayoría del tiempo se come todo lo cocido y lo demás queda igual (refiriéndome a la perrarina). En mi papel de abuela consentidora le hice un vídeo y fotos del proceso de su comida y de ella esperando.
Yesterday my daughter went to enroll in college and spent a lot of time away from home. The truth is that Nóbah behaves very well when she is not at home, but you can tell she is always looking for her mommy. That's why to spoil her I made her a special meal that she likes very much. Chicken skin, with pieces of carrot and pumpkin. I cook it for her and then mix it with the perrarina, although most of the time she eats everything cooked and the rest stays the same (referring to the perrarina). In my role as a spoiled grandmother I took a video and photos of her food process and of her waiting.
Esas son las cosas que alegran en parte mi vida, mi pequeña Nóbah es mi rayito de luz como siempre lo expreso. Ella sabe cómo conquistar a las personas. Hace unas semanas vino de visita mi hermana de Puerto Ordaz y así de amorosa era con ella. De igual manera es con Jonathan, se le estira en sus piernas y no hay quien la levanté de allí. Pero entre todos aquí en casa quien más la consiente es mi esposo, tiene una relación muy bonita con ella, aunque a veces la regaña por las mismas travesuras que les expliqué antes.
These are the things that make my life partly happy, my little Nóbah is my ray of light as I always express it. She knows how to conquer people. A few weeks ago my sister from Puerto Ordaz came to visit me and she was so loving with her. She is the same way with Jonathan, she stretches herself on his legs and no one can get her up from there. But among all of us here at home the one who spoils her the most is my husband, he has a very nice relationship with her, although sometimes he scolds her for the same pranks I explained before.
Una cosa que mi hija se ha esmerado por hacer es darle disciplina y motivarla con premios por así decirles, cuando es obediente. Le encanta estar de velona mientras uno come. En esta oportunidad estábamos comiendo en la cocina una crujientes empanadas, me da mucha risa el sonido y sus movimientos para comer. Así que también hice un video para compartirlo con ustedes. Espero que mi escrito sea de su agrado y al igual que yo estén disfrutando de las mascotas que escogieron para tener en casa y hacer crecer a su hermosa familia. Bendiciones para todos ustedes.
One thing my daughter has taken great care to do is to discipline her and motivate her with rewards, so to speak, when she is obedient. She loves to be on the velona while one eats. This time we were eating a crunchy empanadas in the kitchen, I laughed a lot at the sound and her movements to eat. So I also made a video to share it with you.
