The Folks at LeoFinance Have Just Released "THREADS!
What are THREADS, and why should you care?
Well, Threads is a "microblogging" feature, much Hive's own version of twitter! And if you're an animal lover, you're probably aware of just how many millions of "short form" posts with pictures of pets come through twitter every day... and now we can do that on @leofinance's new THREADS app!
OK, so it's not fully operational yet (this is the first "Alpha" release), and still a little rough around the edges... but it's a wonderful way for you to share and showcase your favorite furry, feathered, scaled and otherwise pet friends!
How it Works:
- Head on over to https://alpha.leofinance.io/threads
- Log in with your Hive keys (lower left)
- Make a Thread, for example with a picture of your pet and a brief description
- Tag it with #cats or #dogs or #pets or whatever is appropriate!
- Explore: Click on a favorite tag and see what's there!
Let's see if we can't get #cats or #dogs to start trending!
And not to worry: You won't be spamming anyone's blog feed (including your own!) because Threads contributions basically spool as comments, rather than top level posts!
Get Rewarded in LEO tokens!
The additional cool thing about Threads is that it not only might reward you in Hive, you might also be rewarded in LeoFinance's native LEO token, one of the most active and valuable community tokens on Hive-Engine!
