Every day, there’s a cat that visits our house. It actually lives in the other house, but for some reason, it always comes to our front door. I don’t really know why, but it seems to like staying there. Sometimes it meows loudly, as if asking to be let in. It’s a very clean and adorable cat, and every time I see it waiting outside, I can’t help but smile.
This cat has white fur with a few brown spots on its back and head. Its fur always looks soft and clean, which makes it look well cared for. Its eyes are bright and curious, like it’s always watching everything around it. When it looks up at me, it almost feels like it’s trying to talk. There are times it meows nonstop, especially when I don’t open the door right away. It’s as if it’s saying, “Hey, open up! I’m here again!”
Most of the time, it waits right in front of the door. Sometimes it even scratches the door gently, trying to get my attention. I think it wants to go inside, though I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s just curious, or maybe it knows there’s food or a cozy spot inside. It’s funny because even if I tell it to go home, it just stays there, looking at me with those cute eyes that make it hard to ignore.
When I take pictures of it, the cat always seems ready. It looks straight at the camera like it knows I’m taking its photo. One time, I caught it standing on two feet, leaning against the door as if it was trying to open it itself! It was so adorable that I laughed out loud. In another photo, it was sitting neatly on the floor, looking up with a tiny meow that sounded almost like a greeting.
Sometimes, I try talking to it softly. I say things like, “What are you doing here again?” or “Do you miss me already?” Of course, it doesn’t answer, but it tilts its head like it’s listening. I really enjoy those little moments. The cat has this calm and gentle presence that makes the day feel lighter.
Even if I’m busy, when I see it by the door, I stop for a while just to watch it.
There was one morning when I woke up and saw it already sitting at the door. It looked like it had been waiting for a while. When I opened the door, it didn’t rush inside it just looked around and walked in slowly, as if it was exploring. It sniffed the floor, looked at the furniture, and then sat near my feet. It didn’t make a mess or cause any trouble; it just wanted to stay for a bit. Maybe it feels safe here.
Sometimes, I wonder what its real name is or what kind of personality it has when it’s at its own home. Maybe it’s playful, or maybe it’s a quiet cat that just likes to visit people. What I do know is that it’s friendly and never scratches or hisses. It’s just a calm, polite visitor who seems to enjoy my company.
One of my favorite moments is when the cat sits by the door while the sun shines in. The light makes its fur glow, and it looks so peaceful. It stretches, yawns, and curls up as if the spot was made just for it. I think that’s one of the reasons I like it so much it reminds me to slow down and enjoy small, simple things.
Even if I don’t feed it every time, it still keeps coming back. That makes me think that maybe it doesn’t just visit for food. Maybe it just likes being around people, especially those who show it kindness. Every visit feels like a small reminder that animals can be full of love and trust too.
Now, whenever I hear a soft meow or scratching sound near the door, I already know who it is. It’s the same cute cat again, looking at me with its round eyes, waiting patiently to be noticed. It has become part of my daily routine, and honestly, I love it.
I may not know exactly why it chooses to visit my house, but I’m glad it does. It brings a little joy to my day every time I see it waiting there. Maybe one day I’ll finally learn its name or make friends with its owner. But for now, I’m happy just having this sweet cat as my daily visitor a small, furry reminder of how simple things can make us smile.
