Each animal has its own story, its own personality, and its own way of making us smile even on stressful days. Today, I want to share the stories of our pets.
Loving animals teaches our hearts to be gentle. It reminds us that kindness is not only for people but for every living creature that shares our space. When we choose to care for them, we also choose to grow becoming more patient, more understanding, and more grateful for the simple joys in life.
Another funny story in our backyard is about my mother’s duck. This duck has a calm and serious personality sometimes too serious that we end up laughing. Whenever Orio, our cat, sits near him, the duck does not move at all. He just stands there, stiff and quiet, as if he is pretending to be invisible. Maybe he is scared of Orio, or maybe he thinks that if he doesn’t move, Orio won’t notice him. The funny part is that Orio is also very serious. He just sits and waits, watching the duck closely. We can’t stop laughing because they both look so serious and we don’t even know which of them is more scared of the other.
This duck has been with us for a long time. My mother takes care of two ducks a male and a female because she wants them to multiply someday. They stay mostly in our backyard, and we are thankful that they do not wander far or get lost. They are not difficult to take care of. As long as they have food, water, and a clean place to stay.
The chicken that my mother gave to Freya has grown big now. Freya is a child who really loves chickens she doesn’t like cats or dogs, only chickens. She enjoys feeding her chicken every day and even plays with it. Sometimes she teases it or talks to it like a friend. I don’t know why, but chickens make her happy more than anything else. She dreams of having a small chicken house someday, even just a tiny one, so her chicken can have its own place.
Freya’s love for her chicken goes beyond what most people would expect. She sleeps with the chicken beside her, wrapping it in a cloth to keep it warm. Sometimes I joke that the only thing missing is a diaper because she handles it like a real baby. The funny part is, the chicken also wants to stay beside her it stays still and falls asleep tucked in her arms. Whenever we leave the house, Freya always remembers her chicken and worries if it is hungry. I laugh every time because out of all the things she could care about, it’s always the chicken she thinks of first.
Bruno is a very good dog. He always guards us at night, especially because there are people who try to steal in our area. It’s really good to have a dog because Bruno alerts us when someone is around. He never stops barking when he senses something or someone near our place. Bruno is a big help to us, and that’s why we take care of him so well. It’s better to have safety and peace of mind, especially at night.
Every pet has a purpose some to guard us, some to make us laugh, and some to remind us that love can be simple. We don’t need big things to feel happy. Sometimes, a chicken, a dog, or a playful cat is already enough to fill our hearts. Thank you for visiting my post and for your support. God bless you all.

Wow, your child's is so cute and so thoughtful. Nowadays kids focus on gadgets, they don't even know others pet or they don't have time to taking care of their pets at home. I'm happy that you train you daughter to have care with animals. So adorable!.
It's fun to have these pets around, it makes life colorful. Haven't tried raising ducks yet
