Hello, wonderful Hive Pets Community! I am back with another exciting update on my DIY chicken egg incubation journey, and this time, I have some amazing news to share with all of you!

Yesterday, before I started my main job, I made a post about the first chick that successfully hatched from one of the five eggs inside my homemade incubator. Seeing that little chick emerge from its shell was already enough to fill my heart with happiness. After waiting patiently for more than three weeks, that tiny miracle felt incredibly rewarding.

At that moment, I was hopeful that the remaining four eggs would also hatch, but I knew that nature always has its own timing. All I could do was continue monitoring the incubator and patiently wait for any signs of movement. Several hours later, I checked on the eggs again and immediately noticed that all four remaining eggs had developed cracks! My excitement level instantly went through the roof. I carefully watched as the chicks inside continued their hard work, slowly breaking free from their shells.

Then the moment I had been hoping for finally arrived. One by one, the remaining chicks successfully hatched, and to my great relief, all four were alive and healthy! Huhu! 🥹❤️I honestly cannot describe how happy and emotional I felt at that moment. Every day of monitoring temperatures, checking the incubator, and wondering if my DIY setup would work had finally paid off.

The first chick that hatched is yellow in color, making it easy to identify among the group. The other four chicks are black, creating a beautiful contrast between the siblings. It is so adorable watching them gather together, rest side by side, and begin exploring the outside world for the very first time.

1 Yellow Chick+4 Black Chicks=5 Healthy Chicks in Total...What makes this experience even more special is that all five chicks hatched after spending 22 days inside the DIY incubator that I personally made. This project started as an experiment and a learning experience, but it has now become one of the most rewarding things I have ever done.

Along the way, there were moments of uncertainty. I often found myself wondering if the temperature was correct, if the humidity was sufficient, or if the eggs were still developing properly. Since I was relying on a homemade incubator, there was always that small fear that something might go wrong. Thankfully, everything turned out better than I expected.

Watching these tiny chicks finally break free from their shells reminds me that patience, consistency, and care can produce wonderful results. From day one until day twenty-two, every bit of effort was worth it. I would like to thank all my Hive friends who have followed this incubation journey from the beginning. Your encouragement, support, and kind comments kept me motivated throughout the entire process. ❤️

For now, my little family of chicks is resting comfortably as they adjust to their new environment. I am excited to watch them grow and share more updates with all of you in the coming days and weeks. Thank you so much for dropping by and celebrating this special milestone with me. This successful hatch is something I will never forget, and I am grateful to share the experience with such a supportive community.

Until my next chick update, take care, my dear Hive Friends all over the world!💛🖤

yay! they made it here now! so is there water in that cup there? is that for humidity?

Yes, Boss. I put water inside the cup for humidity purposes.

This is seriously so cool, but are they like normal chicken eggs that u incubate? I miss having chicken around running and here and there. Seeing the baby chicks, parang bet ko ulit tho its Mama who actually take care of them. And doing this is challenging din ha. But seems like u enjoy it toooo

Nope, they came from SBR and di ko alam anong lahi ng nanay nila, basta panabong. Hahaha! Ang cool nga! Napagtripan ko lang kasi nga kinakain ng nanay yung eggs isa-isa kaya nagresearch ako ano ang pwedeng alternative. Ayun, nalaman ko about DIY incubator/incubation. Sinundan ko lang from YT videos. 🤣

Ang galing mo dun sa part na yun ah, and 4 sure first time mo to do that! Ay sya wari ko pwede kana mag business? Haha

Hahaha! Eh hindi naman sa'kin ang mga manok. Nagpresenta lang ako mag-DIY incubation para matest ko if effective. At ayun nga, gumana. 😆

Ganda ng DIY incubator mo sis ah..so much joy talga sis to see chicks hatched...parang gusto ko na din mag alaga ng inahing manok nito ..Soon may maaani ka talaga sa pagiging masinop sa Pag alaga nyan

Thank you, Sissy ko.

Thanks, Sissy. Yes, nakakatuwa. This is such a cute achievement! Hindi pang-ulam eh, baka ibenta ko sa mga gusto ng panabong. 😁
