Cuando estaba en el colegio la profesora nos indicó realizar una composición que estuviera basada en la pregunta: ¿Cuál animal exótico me gustaría tener como mascota? Primero me tocó investigar cuáles eran exóticos. Son aquellas especies que deberían estar en su hábitat pero por algún motivo están viviendo en otro lugar que no es su hábitat.
When I was in school, the teacher asked us to make a composition based on the question: Which exotic animal would I like to have as a pet? First I had to research which ones were exotic. They are those species that should be in their habitat but for some reason are living somewhere else that is not their habitat
Después de comprender esto y empezar a volar mi imaginación, comencé a pensar cuál animal que yo conociera quisiera que viviera en mi casa. Pero no se me venía a la imaginación ninguno, solo perro, gato, aves estás últimas me dan dolor verlas enjauladas, estos son los animales más comunes para tener en casa, pero ellos no son exóticos. Entonces comencé a pensar en uno que se pareciera a mí y que yo me sintiera agradable con él.
After understanding this and starting to let my imagination run wild, I began to think about which animal I knew I would like to have living in my house. But none of them came to my imagination, only dogs, cats, birds, these last ones give me pain to see them in cages, these are the most common animals to have at home, but they are not exotic. Then I began to think of one that looked like me and that I would feel nice with it
Mi mascota exótica a escoger fue el avestruz, me sentía identificada con ella en su tamaño, es un animal muy alto, yo también soy alta, en cualquier lugar que esté termino siendo la más alta. El avestruz es un ave muy grande, tiene alas pero no vuela. Y ahora en este momento puedo entender que Dios me dio alas para ser feliz, libre, y muchas veces no puedo volar por mis propios complejos, porque suelo ser muy dura conmigo misma a veces, me exijo demasiado y cuando no me salen las cosas bien me enojo, termino siendo como el avestruz, ave muy grande con alas pero no vuelo.
My exotic pet to choose was the ostrich, I felt identified with it in its size, it is a very tall animal, I am also tall, wherever I am I end up being the tallest. The ostrich is a very big bird, it has wings but it doesn't fly. And now at this moment I can understand that God gave me wings to be happy, free, and many times I can't fly because of my own complexes, because I tend to be very hard on myself sometimes, I demand too much of myself and when things don't work out well I get angry, I end up being like the ostrich, a very big bird with wings but no flight
Otra característica con la que me identifico es que son animales que andan en manadas, yo soy amigable, me gusta estar con mi familia, con mis amigos, en el trabajo me gusta relacionarme con todos, formar un espíritu de equipo en la empresa.

El avestruz tiene patas largas pero fuertes, dependen de ellas para poder caminar y correr. Desde niña mis compañeros se reían de mi por mi altura, tenía piernas largas como las del avestruz. Pero ya hoy no soy tan delgada pero tengo piernas que me mantienen de pie, esas piernas son la fe y la fortaleza.

Los avestruces son muy inteligentes, tienen una visión y oído agudo. Suelo ser muy observadora, captar donde puedo estar y de donde me debo alejar. Aparte de no volar se pueden diferenciar de otras aves porque tienen dos dedos en las patas, las otras aves pueden tener tres dedos o cuatro dedos. Todos en la vida somos diferentes, así seamos todos humanos, tenemos nuestras cualidades físicas y emocionales que nos dan el sello de únicos, todos ponemos nuestro grano de autenticidad en la sociedad.

Siempre le digo a mi hijo que si compra un chigüire yo compraré un avestruz, estamos estudiando esa posibilidad. Ya tenemos el espacio, pero megustaría tener la pareja ja,ja,ja.
