Recuerdan que hace unas semanas les escribí acerca de Mila? esta gatita que no es mía, pero yo soy de ella, porque es la gatita de mi vecina, pero al parecer Mila me escogió como una de sus humanas preferidas.
Bueno, ultimamente ella venía poco a la casa, al parecer le gustaba estar con Isa en las tardes, pero como Isa está yendo a la escuela, no ha venido mucho de visita Mila, aun así, ha veces pasa por aqui a saludar en la noches,
Esta semana me tocó ser su cuidadora, pues mi vecina salió de viaje y me encargó que la alimentara y la cuidara, me dejó dinero para comprarle una arena para su cajita de hacer popo, y la llave de su casa para colocarle comida, y asegurarme de que Mila este bien.
Los gatos son seres muy inteligentes, días antes de que su dueña viajará, Mila estaba muy inquieta, veía el movimiento de cosas, maletas y demás, estaba un poco incomoda, la hija de la dueña me llegó a decir “Yo creo que Mila sabe que vamos a viajar”, yo le aseguré que sí, pues ellos son muy inteligentes pero que no se preocupen que conmigo va a estar consentida.
Taking care of Mila
Remember a few weeks ago I wrote about Mila? this kitty that is not mine, but I am hers, because she is my neighbor's kitty, but apparently Mila chose me as one of her favorite humans.
Well, lately she didn't come to the house much, apparently she liked to be with Isa in the afternoons, but as Isa is going to school, Mila hasn't come to visit her much, even so, sometimes she comes by to say hello in the evenings,
This week I had to be her caregiver, because my neighbor went out of town and asked me to feed her and take care of her, she left me some money to buy her a litter for her litter box, and the key to her house to put food in it, and make sure Mila is ok.
Cats are very intelligent beings, days before her owner traveled, Mila was very restless, she saw the movement of things, suitcases and others, she was a little uncomfortable, the owner's daughter told me "I think Mila knows that we are going to travel", I assured her that yes, they are very intelligent but do not worry, she will be pampered with me.
Mi vecina se fue de viaje el domingo en la madrugada, y me dejó todo lo necesario para la gatita Milá, le compre la arena, y cada día, dos veces al día voy a ponerle comida. Pero he percibido que ella no quiere comer la comida que le pongo en su platito, la huele y se retira, como rechazando ese plato, pasan las horas y el plato se ve que “comió”, pero me pareció raro que ella cada vez que me ve me maulla mas de lo normal, y me lleva hasta su plato, claramente pidiéndome comida pero cuando se la coloco no la come.
La observe estos días, ya en la noche resolví darle comida fuera del plato, sobre todo mi hija, como ven en la foto lo hace, y ella se come los “petiscos” que ella le ofrece. Esta mañana descubrí la razón de su rechazo al plato y que luego parezca que se lo comió, pero la veo con hambre, y es que al entrar a su casa encontré a otro gato metido en su plato comiendo, y la pobre mila, me maulla como diciéndome “ayudame” o “viste que se me estan comiendo mi ración?”, se ve que ella estaba afuera de la casa, miedosa de que ese gato grande la lastimara.
My neighbor went on a trip on Sunday at dawn, and left me everything I needed for Mila the kitten, I bought her the litter, and every day, twice a day I go to put food for her. But I have noticed that she does not want to eat the food that I put in her little dish, she smells it and leaves, as if rejecting the dish, hours go by and the dish looks "eaten", but it seemed strange to me that every time she sees me she meows more than usual, and takes me to her dish, clearly asking me for food but when I put it in her dish she does not eat it.
I observed her these days, and in the evening I decided to give her food out of the dish, especially my daughter, as you can see in the picture she does it, and she eats the "petiscos" that she offers her. This morning I discovered the reason for her rejection of the dish and then it seems that she ate it, but I see her hungry, and when I entered her house I found another cat stuck in her dish eating, and poor mila, she meows as if telling me "help me" or "did you see that they are eating my ration", you can see that she was outside the house, afraid that the big cat would hurt her.
La pobre estaba sufriendo por un gato maltratador que le roba la comida, y rechaza el plato, aunque se lo lave, porque huele a gato ladrón. Así que, como sé que debe estar hambrienta, cuando me fui a llevar a Isa al colegio, aproveché para ir a la tienda de animales y le compré un sobre de comida húmeda que sé que le gusta.
Cuando llegué a casa la llamé pero no la vi, pensé que debía estar dormida porque es su hora de dormir, pero para mi sorpresa, la veo venir hacia mí casi hablando, además de decir "Mari tengo hambre", allí busqué rápidamente un plato limpio de mi casa, y le puse la mitad del sobre de comida húmeda, se volvió loca de contenta, se lo comió todo.
The poor thing was suffering from an abusive cat that steals her food, and she refuses the dish, even though I wash it for her, because it smells like a thieving cat. So, as I know she must be starving, when I left to take Isa to school, I took the opportunity to go to the Pets store and bought her a sachet of wet food that I know she likes.
When I got home I called her but I didn't see her, I thought she must be asleep because this is her sleeping time, but to my surprise, I see her coming to me almost talking, as well as saying "Mari I'm hungry", there I quickly looked for a clean plate from my house, and I put half of the sachet of wet food, she went crazy with happiness, she ate it all.
Cuando terminó de comer, hizo alarde de su ingratitud felina, se lamió las patas limpiándose la cara y salió de mi casa, seguramente dispuesta a tener su sueño reparador, le dije, "a la orden Mila" y ella por supuesto me ignoró jajaja, pero bueno así son ellos, qué más se puede pedir, los amamos aún con su personalidad narcisista, es que en verdad, los gatos son demasiado hermosos.
Esa es la novedad de hoy con mila, la gatita que no es mía pero yo soy suya, ella sabe que cuenta conmigo, yo sé que me quiere, y que confía en mí, porque si no, no bebería agua en mi casa, ni habría comido lo que le sirvo, además sé que quiere a Isa porque se deja acariciar por ella y cuando llega a casa se tumba cerca de sus cosas, así que ahí hay una bonita afinidad. Aunque a Isa le gustaría tener un gatito, aún no podemos pero algún día será.

That is the novelty of today with mila, the kitten that is not mine but I am hers, she knows she counts on me, I know she loves me, and that she trusts me, because otherwise she would not drink water in my house, nor would she have eaten what I serve her, besides I know she loves Isa because she lets herself be caressed by her and when she comes home she lies down near her things, so there is a nice affinity there. Although Isa would like to have a kitten, we can not yet but someday it will be.

Que linda es Mila, curiosamente también tuve gatos ladrones que robaban la comida de mi lindo Apolo y tuve que colocarle su plato dentro de la casa para que pueda comer también rechazaba el plato y era me preocupaba mucho, nunca pensé que eran gatos ladrones hasta un día salí por cosas mía y ahí estaban comiendose la comida de mi pequeño...
