Having me at home is the greatest desire in their hearts. I give joy, comfort, and love that nothing can equal. In return, they have loved me so dearly.
In this blog, I'm going to share my life as a spoiled but loving kitty cat.
My Presence
I am a domestic cat at our home, I'm so cuddly, like to sleep with them every night, so sweet and super fluffy. I'm a super smart cat and was born on January 12, 2020. They named me Kermit. Supposed to be we were three, but luckily I was the only one who lived longer. I was surrounded by love and well taken care of. Our house is full of joy because of my presence.
I used to be their superhero. One night when they were falling asleep, a snake visited our dining room. They never knew that an intruder visited us silently. When they woke up in the morning, they have seen the dead snake, bitten in the neck, and was motionless already. They were so glad I saved them. They have seen spots of blood on my fur and were delighted I was not harmed.
I used to comfort the other rescued kittens that needed comfort from their mother. I guided them and provided warmth during nighttime. They loved me so tenderly too.
Their love for me is truly immeasurable. One time, I had fallen from the highest peak of a tree. Since I was not used to climbing, I have difficulty going down. I was at the branch of the tree the whole day, they kept on calling me so I will come down but it was useless. I never gave try to get down with their presence. I was a little bit stubborn.
The night has come, and they were all worried. They waited for me at home, but I never came. It was early in the morning when they heard me screaming, asking, and begging them to open the door and help me. Upon seeing my condition, they were so worried that I was injured and unable to walk.
I was rushed to the clinic, got operated and took some medicines good for 3 weeks. It was not easy for them to take care of me. I have the catheter and from time to time, the urine always dripped from my penis. When I pooped, and I know my poop stinks but they faithfully cleaned my butt. They let me wear diapers all the time so I would be comfortable and dry.
Time flew fast and I was cured totally. They were so glad I felt better and was able to walk again.
I used to sleep beside my best friend and we never fight. We love each other as if we belong to one loving family.
Gone in a sudden
Last weekend, I went out early in the morning. Starting that moment on, I never came back because I was searching for a lady cat to be my date. They searched me everywhere but there were no signs of my presence. This saddened them all, especially my fur mom's second daughter who is the closest to me. I left home, suddenly vanished, and was nowhere to be found.
Their hearts were so heavy. They missed me every second of the day. They never lose hope and continued calling my name thinking that I might be back but no Kermit appeared. They were so sad and our house is incomplete and empty without me.
The answered prayer
They keep on praying every night that I will be back again. Right after school, they will go to our backyard, they kept on calling and searching for me but there were no traces of my appearance. They were so desperate however, the remaining hope was still in their hearts and this made them stronger.
After six days of being lost, mom's eldest child went again to our backyard. She was taking a chance that I might come back and by surprise, she saw me there! She run toward me, and I was a little bit afraid and hesitant toward her but she insisted and went closer to me. When I recognized her, I also moved nearer and allowed her to lift and carry me back to our house.
I was so skinny, my ears were full of ticks, and my fur turned grayish. Immediately they fed me, and it was very evident that I was very hungry. They let me drink milk afterward. We have eaten together with Bebe my fur best friend. She missed me too.
The night was full of joy and happiness. The gloomy days were suddenly replaced with pure happiness. They were so very thankful for this answered prayer. They were glad I'm back.
The realization
The unconditional love and true companionship I have shown to my family make our life happy every day. Our bond between the children is a good stress reliever and is essential to one's emotions. When they are sad and lonely, I'm always there to cheer them up, thus they did everything for me. Their love for me is reciprocated with true love and loyalty and because of this they are overwhelmed and blessed of having me in their lives.
This is my story, and I'm so proud of having me as their feline family member. And I realized and promised that I will not leave them again. Thank you so much for your time and for reading this far. God bless!

It's a relief to know that Kermit came back home after 6 days of missing! If I was in your place, I would be hysterical knowing how much I loved that cat. There is a difference when your pet cat has gone missing and didn't return vs having your cat die in your presence. I would probably won't have closure if my cat never returns.

Absolutely, can feel me because I know deep inside your heart that you love cats too. If we still cannot assure that the cat is dead, there is still hope. But losing, it would be very painful.
