You know how important my cats are in my life, I love to take care of them, give them all my love and of course, share with you anecdotes and tender photos where they are doing absolutely nothing, lol.
Hello, Hive. Welcome to another post where my precious cats are the protagonists.
Losing one of my cats would be losing a very valuable treasure of my day, although sometimes I worry about what might happen if for some reason they get lost or become seriously ill, I try not to let the fear of the unknown torment me, both my siblings and I are attentive to their needs and try to give them a good life.
Fears sometimes come in the form of dreams, just yesterday I had one, and a very real one. It happens that in this dream, one of my cats (Náiki), died practically because of me. The pain and sadness I felt in the dream was so real that I woke up suddenly, when I woke up I still had those horrible feelings, I even had tears running down my face, but after a few minutes I felt relieved that this horrible scene was only a product of my imagination.
A nice thing that happened after that is that Náiki came into my room and climbed into my bed purring, so as long as I felt calm again, I managed to sleep for a couple of hours more.
In other news, Kofi and Duquesa have been spending a lot of time together, they have always had a very nice bond, but in the last few weeks I have noticed more love between them. Someone once told me that if two cats tend to lick each other (especially the face and ear areas) it is a symbol of trust and love.
Beyond their instinct to keep themselves groomed, I guess this ritual also relaxes them and keeps them cool, it has been very hot this month, so they have been doing this more often.
While I was trying to take a picture of these two, I woke up Kofi and so he has a funny grimace on his face.
Seeing that Náiki is almost Kofi's size brought me a lot of nostalgia, in a short time it will be one year since her arrival to the family and I still feel like it was yesterday that I rescued her, gave her food and a home much more welcoming than the street.
I think I took this picture earlier this year, but it was a little funny to realize that Naiki has always used Kofi as a pillow.

Hola, gente linda de Hive. Bienvenidos sean a otro post donde mis preciosos gatos son los protagonistas.
Perder a uno de mis gatos sería perder un tesoro muy valioso de mi día, aunque a veces me preocupe por lo que puede pasar si se por alguna razón se llegan extraviar o si se enferman gravemente, trato de no dejar que el miedo por lo desconocido me atormente, tanto mis hermanos como yo somos atentos con sus necesidades y tratamos de darles una buena vida.
Los miedos a veces se presentan en forma de sueños, justo ayer tuve uno, y muy real. Sucede que en este sueño, una de mis gatas (Náiki), fallecía prácticamente por mi culpa. El dolor y la tristeza que sentí en el sueño fue tan real que me desperté de golpe, al despertar aún tenía esas sensaciones horribles, incluso tenía lágrimas corriendo por la cara, pero después de unos minutos me sentí aliviada que esa escena tan horrible solo haya sido producto de mi imaginación.
Algo bonito que sucedió después de eso, es que Náiki entró a mi cuarto y se subió a mi cama ronroneando, así que en tanto volví a sentirme tranquila, logré dormir por un par de horas más.
En otras noticias, Kofi y Duquesa han estado pasando mucho tiempo juntos, siempre han tenido un vínculo muy bonito, pero en las últimas semanas he notado más amor entre ellos. Una vez alguien me dijo que si dos gatos tienden a lamerse entre ellos (especialmente las zonas de la cara y las orejas) es símbolo de confianza y amor.
Más allá de su instinto por mantenerse aseados, supongo que este ritual también los relaja y los mantiene frescos, ha hecho mucho calor este mes, así que han hecho esto con más frecuencia.
Mientras intentaba tomarles una foto a estos dos, desperté a Kofi y por ello tiene una mueca divertida.
Ver que Náiki ya casi es del tamaño de Kofi me trajo mucha nostalgia, en poco tiempo se cumple un año de su llegada a la familia y aún siento que fue ayer que la rescaté, le di comida y un hogar mucho más acogedor que la calle.
Creo que esta foto la tomé a principios de año, pero me causó un poco de gracia darme cuenta que Náiki siempre ha usado a Kofi como almohada.
