A dog is a domestic animal that is a desendant of a wolf, what that means is that dogs and wolfs can relate toghether. Dogs are very important to humans, human beigns uses them for some important reasons e.g a human uses his dog for security reasons.Dogs sense of hearing and smelling are 100,000 times more better than human beigns. A female dog is called a dam or a bitch and a male is called stud (if used for breeding purposes).

Dogs can be used by farmers for pest control
Dogs are also used for protection against thieves
Types of dogs and thier uses
There are many types of and thier diffrent usages lets consider them.
Herding dogs: Herding dogs help the shepherd to protect his sheep i.e not letting the sheep to stray or get lost. When a dog sees a sheep straying it barks so that it goes back to the herd.
Examples of these are
Austrailian shepherds
Blue heelers
German shepherds
2)Ratters: Ratters are type of dogs that help to hunt rat and help with pest control in the farm, these dogs are a little smaller than the herding dogs.

Pachshunds
Terriers
Jack rusell
3)Security dogs: these are dogs that are used by the police and others for security reasons, this specie is known as the bull dog and it is the biggest dog just as the name bull
