Good afternoon dear community of #HivePets (@hivehive-196708). Thank you @roadstories for making sure our pets also have their place in HIVE, so we can pay them the tribute they deserve.
Without a doubt this is one of the cutest contests I have ever participated in. Pets are part of our family and they deserved to have their little place here at HIVE.
Since I was very young with my brothers and sisters we used to give shelter to the animals we found in the street, generally puppies and defenceless, and some of them we managed to give them up for responsible adoption. I remember that it was always easier for the males to be adopted than the females.
The photos I will share with you in this publication are of many of the pets I have had and others of other pets I have rescued from the street, we have cured them of some illness they have had and have given them up for adoption.
That is why from an early age I don't see them as simple animals but as another member of our family and as such they need our attention and time to walk and play with them.
They love, they suffer and they feel just like we do, they just express it with their language.
So how do you show love to your pets?
The answer is very simple, by making them feel that they are part of the family, spending time with them, sharing walks and above all giving them the place they deserve by making them feel the role they play in our lives.
They need to be protected from extreme temperatures so that they don't get sick. At home in winter they sleep on a blanket next to the heater and in summer they rest under the air conditioner.
Who decides to have a pet at home must think it through, plan it and above all be clear that it is a commitment that one takes to share life with a four-legged friend. They will give us all their love, joy and loyalty. When we are sad or angry, they will be the first to notice and come to give us their affection.
They also want us to take care of their health, which is why it is important to visit the vet at least twice a year for check-ups, vaccinations, deworming and to make sure that everything is all right with our pet. Surely the vet will also recommend quality food so that our pet is always in optimal conditions.
In short, the way I show love to my pets is by dedicating time to walk them, to play, to take care of their food, their medical check-ups, and above all by making them part of our family, since that is why we have adopted them.
The day we learn about the simplicity and greatness of animals we will make a leap in quality and we will surely be a much better person.
I tell them that for several years I have been part of rescue groups in my city, where we recovered a large number of dogs mistreated by their owners and I also collaborated in recruiting street animals (cats and dogs) to be sterilized and to control the city's population of street animals. This is a beautiful task that I don't do very often anymore, but it has given me a lot of satisfaction.

Muy buenas tardess querida comunidad de #HivePets (@colmena-196708). Gracias @roadstories por hacer que nuestras mascotas también tengan su lugar en HIVE, para poder rendirle el tributo que ellos merecen.
Sin lugar a dudas este es uno de los concursos más lindos en los que he participado. Las mascotas son parte de nuestra familia y ellos merecían tener su pequeño lugar aquí en HIVE.
Desde muy pequeño con mis hermanos le dábamos cobijo a los animales que encontrábamos en la calle, generalmente cachorros e indefensos y algunos lográbamos darlos en adopción responsable. Recuerdo que siempre los machos eran más fáciles de que sean adoptados que las hembras.
Las fotos que compartiré con ustedes en esta publicación son de muchas de las mascotas que he tenido y otras de otras mascotas que he rescatado de la calle, las hemos curado de alguna enfermedad que han tenido y las hemos dado en adopción.
Es por ello que desde temprana edad no los veo como simples animales sino como otro integrante más de nuestra familia y como tal ellos necesitan que les prestemos atención y que les dediquemos tiempo para pasear y para jugar con ellos
Ellos aman sufren y sienten al igual que lo hacemos nosotros solo que lo expresan con su lenguaje.
Entonces, ¿cómo le demuestras amor a tus mascotas?
La respuesta es muy simple, haciéndoles sentir que son parte de la familia, dedicándoles tiempo para estar con ellos, compartir paseos y sobre todo dándoles el lugar que se merecen haciendo que sientan el rol que ocupan en nuestras vidas.
Hay que resguardarlos de temperaturas extremas para que no les haga mál. En casa en invierno duermen en una manta al lado del calefactor y en verano descansan debajo del aire acondicionado.
Quién decide tener una mascota en casa debe pensarlo bien, planificarlo y sobre todo tener en claro que es un compromiso que uno toma de compartir la vida con un amigo de cuatro patas. Ellos nos regalarán todo su amor, su alegría y su fidelidad. Cuando estemos tristes o enojados ellos serán los primeros en darse cuenta y venir a brindarnos su cariño.
Ellos también que nos ocupemos de su salud por lo cual es importante por un lado hace al menos dos veces al año una visita al veterinario para hacerles controles, vacunarlos, desparasitarlos y para verificar que todo esté bien en nuestra mascota. Seguramente el veterinario también nos recomiende alimento de calidad para que nuestra mascota este siempre en óptimas condiciones.
En fin, la forma de demostrar amor hacia mis mascotas es dedicándoles tiempo para pasear, para jugar, ocuparme de su comida, de sus controles médicos, y sobre todo haciendolas parte de nuestra familia, ya que por ello las hemos adoptado.
El día que aprendamos de la sencillez y grandeza de los animales daremos un salto de calidad y seguramente seremosbvmucho mejor persona.
Les cuento que por varios años he formado parte de grupos rescatistas de mi ciudad, donde les recuperamos gran cantidad de perroe maltratados por sus dueños y también colaboré en reclutar animales de la calle (gatos y perros) para que sean esterilizados y se pueda controlar la población de la ciudad de los animales en situación de calle. Esa es una hermosa tarea que por el tiempo ya no realizo con mucha frecuencia, pero que me ha dado muchas satisfacciones.
