Some of us has a pet we own and we love, some of them makes us a parent and that is enough for us. Some people likes to take care of their pets only and already contented of having a pet than a child, well I have a child and a pet also so it’s quite great to have them all. Some has a pet dog, cat and even chickens and goats, some have hamsters or fish, but for me I have cute tiny little white mice and this is where it all begins.
I have 4 lovely pet mice, actually me and Abe owned it but they stays here at my house. At first I only see them as a projection at school, it’s for our major actually and we have to train a mouse to run on a maze. It’s for a part of our last project for our finals and we really need to achieve because our final grades depends on it. We bought 4 mice because we bought 2 mice previously and they all died because they don’t have a female I guess? So Abe and I bought 2 males and 2 females so that they can survive for a long time and maybe they can also have some babies!
The 2 boys names were Chill Guy and Kenken while the 2 girls named Biscuits and Fuji! They love hanging out on their little 2 storey house, they all loved each other and care for each other. Chill guy and Fuji were my mice while Kenken and Biscuits were Abe’s, they love squeking and playing on the slides and then sleep. My mice loves hanging on the 2nd floor of their house, they both chill there and sleep while Abe’s mice always plays under their house and I rarely see them sleep to be honest. Since they stay at my house, it’s really an unexpected attachment for me about these little cuties.
I have a trauma of rats and since they are related, I am a bit scared because I’ve got bitten once while I was asleep. Since then I always check on them and feed them but never touched them, until I tried to conquer my fear and my first step is to touch them. It’s a bit scary because they have a sharp nails and I thought it’s their teeth for a second but then I tried holding them and there’s where my heart melts for them. It’s a sudden connection, maybe they aren’t like dogs that always greet you when they see you but in just a few days they always touch my hand and never scared when I feed them.
Mice aren’ty typical dream pet but since I took care of them, I really love them and decided to keep them for good. Mice aren’t good to be a pet they say because they’re a bit greedy and they easily die when they day comes but maybe if you take a good care to them, they’ll stay as long as they want. As a person who really loves animals, mice are also a great pet and less hassle. My mice are great! And I know I’ll gonna love them all of my heart.
