Greetings, people of the #HivePets Community. Meet Spinel Sun, the pet of the house and the youngest of my cat Luna's children. He was born after Orión and Aurelia. I am looking for a home for his siblings, but not in the case of Spinel Sun because he chose me as his owner.
Since he was little, he always preferred sleeping with me to with his mother, sucking on the breast. I think that's why he ended up smaller than his two siblings. He's very affectionate with me, and I love him very much. I named it Spinel Sun after the character from Cardcaptor Sakura. Clow the wizard's pet.
Saludos, gente de la Comunidad #HivePets. Les presento a Spinel Sun, el consentido de la casa y el menor de los hijos de mi gata Luna. Nació después de Orión y Aurelia. A sus hermanos si les estoy buscando casa pero en el caso de Spinel Sun no porque me eligió como su dueño.
Desde pequeño siempre prefirió dormir conmigo que con su mamá chupando teta. Creo que eso influyó en que se quedara más pequeño que sus dos hermanos. Es muy cariñoso conmigo y lo amo demasiado. Le coloqué Spinel Sun por el personaje de Sakura Cardcaptors. Mascota del mago Clow.
Like his sister Aurelia Sun, he's a hunter. He once killed a snake. When he's not active, he spends his time sleeping on some piece of furniture with his head hanging off. You could say he's a pretty laid-back and affectionate kitty because he also purrs every time I get close to him.
For me, he's everyone's favorite because, besides being adorably cute, I love him so much that he's black. One of my favorite colors, and people generally tend to avoid these dark-colored kitties because of the stupid belief that they bring them bad luck, but he's brought me more than good luck.
Al igual que su hermana Aurelia Sun, es cazador. Una vez mató una serpiente. Cuando no está activo, se la pasa durmiendo en algún mueble con la cabeza colgando. Se podría decir que es un michi bastante relajado y cariñoso porque también ronronea cada vez que me acerco a él.
Para mí es el favorito de todos porque además de que es adorablemente tierno y lo amo muchisimo, es de color negro. Uno de mis colores favoritos y generalmente la gente tiende a evitar a estos gatitos de color oscuro por la creencia estúpida de que les traen mala suerte, pero él a mí me ha traído más que buena suerte.
He always accompanies me wherever I go. He's silent with me, keeping me company. So he came into my life to give me pure, unconditional love. He also plays a lot with his brother, Orion. Sometimes they sleep together, but Spinel is actually more exquisite and likes to sleep in his bed.
Wrapped up in air conditioning. He's also a very tidy kitty, constantly licking himself to keep his fur shiny and straight. Sometimes he licks himself so much that he wets the bed sheet and makes me think he peed.
Siempre me acompaña a donde quiera que vaya. De manera silenciosa está conmigo haciéndome compañía. Por lo que llegó a mi vida para darme amor puro e incondicional. También juega mucho con su hermano Orión. A veces duermen juntos pero la verdad es que Spinel es más exquicito y le gusta dormir en su cama.
Arropado y con aire acondicionado. También es un gatito muy pulcro, se la pasa lamiéndose constantemente para mantener su pelaje brillante y lacio. A veces se lame tanto que me moja la sábana de la cama y me hace creer que se hizo pipí.
See what I'm saying? How affectionate is Spinel? He hugs his little brother with so much love. He also tends to hug my arm or leg when he's sleeping in bed. And even though he looks so peaceful, I haven't been able to neuter him yet, which caused him to run away from home a few days ago.
Let me tell you what happened. About a week and a half ago, my niece, who really loves playing with my cats, told me she hadn't seen Spinel Sun the whole time he was there with them. That was around 2 p.m.
¿Ya ven lo que les digo? ¿Lo cariñoso que es Spinel? Abraza a su hermanito con mucho amor. A mí también suele abrazarme el brazo o la pierna cuando duerme en la cama. Y aunque lo vean así de tranquilo, por el momento no he podido castrarlo, lo que hizo que hace unos días se escapara de casa.
Dejen que les cuente lo que pasó. Hace como una semana y media más o menos, mi sobrina que le gusta mucho jugar con los gatos que tengo, me dice que no había visto a Spinel Sun en todo el rato que estuvo allí con ellos. Eso fue más o menos como a las 2 de la tarde.
So, the two of us started calling him with a food container, shaking it like a maraca with cat food inside, because when he hears this sound, he jumps out of wherever he is and comes right away. And nothing, the boy didn't appear for all that.
We searched for him for several hours, all afternoon, calling him, and I also searched for him on the block where I live, but nothing. It was as if the earth had swallowed him up. For my part, I was extremely tense and worried that something bad had happened to my feline son.
Entonces entre los dos empezamos a llamarlo con un envase de comida y agitándolo como una maraca con gatarina adentro, ya que al oír este sonido él sale de donde esté y viene enseguida. Y nada, el niño no aparecía por todo eso.
Lo buscamos varias horas, durante toda la tarde, llamándolo y también lo busqué por la cuadra donde vivo, pero nada. Fue como si se lo hubiera tragado la tierra. Por mi parte, yo estaba sumamente tenso y preocupado de que le hubiera sucedido algo malo a mi hijo felino.
So, on one of those trips I was making to find him, I got home and found out that the neighbor's dogs had devoured a black kitten. Upon receiving this news, I was in shock and didn't know how to react.
I cried for two hours over the loss of my beloved Spinel Sun, and to my surprise, I saw him come home safe and sound through the window as if nothing had happened. It made me feel angry and happy at the same time. Since then, I've been more attentive to him to prevent him from escaping. Well, see you in a future post!
Entonces en uno de esos recorridos que hacía en su búsqueda, al llegar a casa me entero de que los perros del vecino habían desvivido a un gatito negro. Yo al recibir esta noticia quedé en shock y no sabía cómo reaccionar.
Estuve llorando por 2 horas por la pérdida de mi querido Spinel Sun y para mi sorpresa veo que llega a casa sano y salvo por la ventana como si nada hubiera pasado. Me hizo sentir enojado y feliz al mismo tiempo. Desde entonces estoy más pendiente de él para evitar que se escape. ¡Bueno, nos vemos en un próximo post!
