RE: Hyperfocused Hunting Adventures With Maesi

in Hive Petslast year

Oh yes that's 100% true that the tabby's can be feisty. Before we fostered and adopted these two, we took 2 (one by one) from the street and both were tabby's and had their own characters. As well as the foster litter of 5, two of them were tabby and definitely the most feisty ones of the litter, but also VERY cute and cuddly.

Maesi is a healer too, when I have something, pain or blood pressure that was off, she insists on crawling up against me and is doing her best to purr and heal me. Also if my daughter has a negative vibe, she'll force her to calm down, she's very sweet. Luna does the same when I stress about something, she'll run to me and starts cuddling me then I know ok calm down, she's telling me something. Cats rule :)

And yes, they both trained me well. Luna used to not make any sound, only once after her neutering surgery (from misery, poor thing) and at some point she started to learn how to use her voice if she wants something from me. It's weird because Maesi is VERY vocal, they are the opposite with that. Now every day, when Luna sees me walking to the kitchen, she'll sit on her spot where I give wet food and looks at me and meows softly, and talks back when I repeat her meow lol. It's a thing we have and she also does it when she wants water from the tap in the bathroom. She's learned that I know what she wants and usually I'm too weak to say no as she has the cutest meow :)

Have a good weekend ahead! <3
