En casa tengo dos terremoticos llamados Kyra y Perseo, son dos pequeños perros de raza schnauzer miniatura, que adoptamos cuando tenían como seis meses de nacidos. Son hermanitos de la misma camada, su antiguo dueño por razones de fuerza mayor los tenía que dar en adopción, pero había decidido hacerlo solo con la condición, de que aquel que los adoptara debía quedarse con los dos, porque deseaba que ellos se mantuvieran siempre juntos. Pensaba que si los separaba iban a estar muy tristes. Por consiguiente, hizo esa oferta de adopción por las redes sociales.
Cuando mis hijos y yo vimos las fotos publicadas en una conocida red social, nos parecieron tan divinos y tiernos que a primera vista nos enamoramos de los dos perritos.
Seguidamente, luego de pensar, analizar qué hacer y de convencer a mi esposo, quien no estaba ganado para la idea, debido a una experiencia traumática que habíamos vivido con un perro de raza Mastín Napolitano, por lo cual habíamos decidido no tener más perros. Nos anotamos como candidatos para adoptarlos.
Así que fuimos aceptados y nos quedamos con ellos. Desde ese día ya ha transcurrido más de 5 años. El próximo mes de enero nuestros perritos cumplirán 6 años de edad.
La schnauzer es una raza de perros muy cariñosos, juguetones, independientes, fuertes y muy saludables, tanto que puedo decirles que desde que tenemos estos perros, jamás se nos han enfermado. Tienen la gran ventaja de que a pesar de ser peludos, no sueltan pelos por la casa. La única cosa de ellos que no me agrada es que son sumamente escandalosos, tienen un ladrido muy agudo y persistente que penetra los oídos.
Kyra y Perseo se quieren mucho, aunque cada uno a su manera. Mientras Perseo es cariñoso y está siempre muy pendiente de su hermana, Kyra es odiosa con él y no le obedece, procura ignorarlo y hace lo que a ella le provoca.
A Perseo le encanta cazar, vive pendiente de cuanto animalito se mueve. Cuando está en el jardín, los pájaros se burlan de él, porque Perseo los persigue mientras ellos vuelan. También le encanta echarse a dormir encima de los zapatos.
A Kyra, por el contrario, todo eso le es indiferente, a ella lo único que le gusta es escaparse para la calle. Por lo cual, tuvimos que ingeniárnosla para obstruirle todos los posibles espacios por donde ella pudiera pasar. Imagínense que el día que nos la trajeron, cuando el que era su dueño se iba, ella saltó desde un muro de casi dos metros de altura para irse con él. Gracias a Dios no le pasó nada.
Nuestros perros a cada rato nos brindan muchas satisfacciones, siempre nos hacen reír con sus cosas. Son unos excelentes compañeros y grandes amigos. Tener mascotas en casa es muy importante, pues ellos contribuyen en gran medida con la estabilidad emocional de la familia.

We signed up as candidates to adopt them. So we were accepted and we kept them. Since that day more than 5 years have passed. Next January our dogs will be 6 years old.
The schnauzer is a very affectionate, playful, independent, strong and very healthy dog breed, so much so that I can tell you that since we have had these dogs, they have never gotten sick. They have the great advantage that in spite of being furry, they do not shed hair around the house. The only thing about them that I don't like is that they are very loud, they have a very sharp and persistent bark that penetrates the ears.
Kyra and Perseus love each other very much, although each in his own way. While Perseus is affectionate and is always very attentive to his sister, Kyra is hateful to him and ignores him, does not obey him and does whatever provokes her.
Perseus loves to hunt, he lives on the lookout for every little animal that moves. When he is in the garden, the birds make fun of him, because Perseus chases them while they fly. He also loves to sleep on the shoes.
Kyra, on the other hand, is indifferent to all that, she just likes to run away to the street. Therefore, we had to manage to obstruct all the possible spaces where she could pass through. Imagine that the day she was brought to us, when her owner was leaving, she jumped from a wall almost two meters high to go with him. Thank God nothing happened to her.
Kyra and Perseus always give us a lot of satisfaction, they always make us laugh with their things. They are excellent companions and great friends. Having pets at home is very important, because they contribute greatly to the emotional stability of the family.

Que hermoso par. Las mascotas ciertmente son una bendición cuando entran a nuestras vidas. A mi me gustan mas los gatos que los perros, pero ciertamente los perros son más fieles que los gatos jajaja
Percibo que recuerda con cariño la decisión que tomó de adoptar a los perritos, seguro que le han sumado mucho a su vida.

Me encanta que a pesar de ser tan unidos cada uno tiene un carácter distinto, cuando estaba empezando a leer la publicación creí que eran nuevos habitantes en tu casa y luego me sorprendió leer que ya van a cumplir más de 5 años con ustedes.
