My worst fears were confirmed. Fortunately, I noticed almost immediately that something went wrong. Of course, I'm already used to Julie moving hard because her back hurts. Usually, she and I react together to weather changes with back pain. But this time everything went wrong.

Fortunately, our vet has already left his vacation. Last night Julie was diagnosed with a pyrometer (purulent inflammation of the uterus). We started the treatment right away. Antibiotic injections and drips. Then I also gave her an IV when we got home.

After a few hours, her condition improved noticeably and she ate well.

Today we continued the therapy and the operation is scheduled for tomorrow. I had to leave work, although it doesn't look too good, but my dogs are my family!

Poor baby! I hope she feels better soon.

She'll have a surgery tomorrow

Greetings. Wow, it's never easy to realize that one of our pets is sick. It's good that you acted quickly. I hope everything turns out well. Hugs.
