And what are my chickens thinking about?! While all the birds incubate the chicks in the spring, they decided that it was a great idea to repeat all this in the fall. However, I feel sorry for the chicks. They did a great job to grow in an egg, break the shell and show themselves to the world! It deserves respect! I had to get involved in the process, clean up the summer house to put room enclosures for mothers and their chicks. I hope the chicks will have more chances to survive.
As long as they get grain and a warm place at night they will be fine, they grow up fast
