My Dog Doesn't Stay Home Anymore

I was my little doggy's whole world, she looked at me like I was the best thing since brown sliced bread and she always wanted to be around me. It seems my powers have faded because I'm not the only one she wants to be around now. Panda has made new friends and she's on the verge of moving out.

I'm not kicking her out but I will if she keeps up with this whole charade 😑 Don't you accuse me of overreacting until you hear the full story. It's a cute story but she's still a traitor in my books.

Five days ago we heard a knock on our door and it was our neighbor. She came to introduce the cutest puppy 🤩 to us and to Panda. It was a beautiful surprise to see they had finally gotten a puppy after so much pressure from their daughter.

It was even cuter to see that the puppy looked just like Panda although he's just 1+ month old. He also behaved a lot like Panda when he saw food. He acted all shy at first but after seeing food and eating, he got comfy real quick.

He looks like this baby picture of Panda

Panda was being territorial initially but she easily warmed up to her lookalike cutie. It was beautiful to watch really, I'd have shown you videos but my phone got faulty.

Panda quickly became a big sister to this new guy and she even stopped him from entering the kitchen which is out of bounds to her. It's funny seeing her do that because she always tries to sneak into the kitchen. Now she wants to act sensible in front of the new guy 😄

It's interesting how she reacted when she first saw him. She was the first to see him when he first arrived and she kept barking excitedly when she came into the house. I didn't know she was trying to tell me there's a new doggy around.

About two days after the arrival of the new puppy, they brought in another puppy. It's the same Lhasa but this one is brown and a female. Panda was already free with the boy puppy so she was really chill when the girl came and didn't act territorial at all.

However, this female is always angry 😄 She didn't want to play when she first came and she ignored everyone. I think she doesn't like Panda and she's territorial. She wouldn't even let me hold her, always making an angry face but still so cute.

Since the arrival of both puppies, Panda asks to go out more now. If she's not chilling in her spot or sleeping, she's scratching the door to signify she wants to go out. When she senses the puppies are outside, all hell breaks lose. She disturbs me until I let her out.

Panda is usually a nuisance at my neighbor's house and she gets kicked out in less than 5 minutes. But since the puppies have been around, Panda stays in their house for hours. I mean very long hours, to the point where I miss her.

When they're outside, I see her sit beside them and stare, she looks like their mother. I can't blame her, the puppies are so cute, who wouldn't want to stare at them all day?

From what I see, Panda would be a great mum because her natural instincts to care for the puppies is on full force right now. She plays with them but knows to be gentle. The female puppy can be a little arse but Panda knows to be gentle with her too.

This morning Panda came into the house with wet, dirty paws as usual after playing in water outside. I burst out in laughter when I saw her lookalike behind her looking wet and stupid just like her. Tongue out, wagging tail and stained fur. My goodness! It was so cute!

It got me thinking of when Panda would have her own kids and how I'd love my house to be filled with these little wonders. That's a lot of expense so I perished the thought 😄

The daily routine now is, Panda goes out in the morning to poo and then play with the puppies. I call her in to come eat, she stays inside for a while after eating and then scratches the door until I let her out to go play with her friends. She's with them until I go pick her up in the evening.

I miss her alot when she's out for long but I also love to see her with the puppies having fun. I know she doesn't love me less because she's home less these days, but I miss my little doggy most of the time.

Is it even healthy to let her be with the puppies for the most part of the day?

Awwwwww.....😍😍
So you were hoarding these cuteness from us🙄

I've been hoarding them for real, I wanted them all for myself 😄

Panda is spoiled but we love to see it though 😂

I think it’s healthy to let her go play with other puppies but maybe not all the time to avoid her catching parvo virus or lice. I think there’s a season when the infection is rampant.

That aside I’d love to see Panda’s older pictures. Did she maintain her Panda like color or did it change?

Here's a recent photo

This was taken a month ago. She's 6 months old right now. You can see the black patches are more of brown now. She only has black on her ears now. This is how her mom looks too.

You can check out more of her here.
