Hola queridos compañeros amantes de las mascotas, espero se encuentren felices y recibiendo mucho amor de sus mascotas, en esta oportunidad deseo hablar de un tema que seguramente muchos de ustedes conocen muy bien, se trata de dormir con nuestros amigos peludos, perros o gatos.
Les soy sincera, yo adoro a mis dos peludas Honey y Mily pero soy muy quisquillosa con la limpieza y orden de mi cama, así que muy poco me gusta tener a mis perros encima de la cama, esto debido a que también las saco mucho a la calle a pasear, entonces el solo hecho de pensar que le puedan quedar restos de suciedad en sus patitas, a pesar de que se las limpio, me da mucho escalofríos.
He leído en algunos artículos que dormir o tener a nuestros perros en nuestras camas tiene sus aspectos negativos como el que acabo de mencionar relacionado con la higiene, pero también tiene muchas cosas positivas y las mismas se encuentran relacionadas principalmente con todas las sensaciones y amor que expresan a cada rato nuestras mascotas.
Hello dear fellow pet lovers, I hope you are happy and receiving lots of love from your pets, this time I want to talk about a topic that surely many of you know very well, it is about sleeping with our furry friends, dogs or cats.
I am honest, I love my two furry friends Honey and Mily but I am very picky about the cleanliness and order of my bed, so I don't like to have my dogs on the bed, this because I also take them out for a walk a lot, then the thought of having dirt on their paws, even though I clean them, gives me a lot of chills.
I have read in some articles that sleeping or having our dogs in our beds has its negative aspects like the one I just mentioned related to hygiene, but it also has many positive things and they are mainly related to all the sensations and love that our pets express all the time.
Seguro que para muchos de ustedes dormir con sus mascotas les da mucho gusto y no resulta ningún problema, pero en mi caso es un poco distinto. Hace unos días estuve pasando unas vacaciones en casa de mi madre, allí tengo a Honey la cual veo solo cuando voy de visita.
Los perros son muy inteligentes y a pesar de que a Honey la llevé yo a casa de mi madre siendo muy pequeñita, siento y puedo ver que ella me reconoce como su principal mama perruna, ya que cuando llego a casa de mi madre, vive pegada a mi como una garrapatita y esto hace que mi madre se ponga muy celosa.
Lo cierto es que Honey se alegra mucho cuando me tiene cerca y yo soy feliz cuando me demuestra su cariño, como es una perrita pequeña y muy ágil, puede subirse muy fácilmente a la cama siempre que quiere, esto pasó muy seguido cuando estuve con ella, al punto de que casi se acostumbró a hacerlo todos los días.
I'm sure that for many of you sleeping with your pets is a pleasure and no problem at all, but in my case it's a little different. A few days ago I was spending a vacation at my mother's house, where I have Honey who I only see when I go to visit.
Dogs are very intelligent and even though I brought Honey to my mother's house when she was very small, I feel and I can see that she recognizes me as her main doggy mom, because when I arrive at my mother's house, she lives attached to me like a little claw and this makes my mother very jealous.
The truth is that Honey is very happy when she has me near and I am happy when she shows me her affection, as she is a small and very agile dog, she can easily get on the bed whenever she wants, this happened very often when I was with her, to the point that she almost got used to do it every day.
Lo bueno es que cuando nos vamos a dormir, tanto Honey como Mily buscan su cama, pero cuando ya empieza a amanecer Honey sube y se acuesta a mi lado, muchas veces me doy cuenta cuando ya me voy a levantar y noto que está muy instalada y dormida profundamente.
En el caso de Mily a pesar de que también es pequeña es muy floja y le da miedo brincar para subirse a la cama, pero las veces que veía a Honey durmiendo a mi lado empezó a despertarme para que la subiera también, así transcurrieron mis días en casa de mi madre.
Algunas noches solo estaba cansada y no pensaba mucho en la higiene, ni en ni nada, simplemente la dejaba subir a mi cama a dormir y después terminaba subiendo a Mily para que no se pusiera celosa y también para que me dejara dormir, es de esas perritas que es muy insistente, así que la única opción que me daba era subirla para poder continuar haciéndolo yo.
The good thing is that when we go to sleep, both Honey and Mily look for their bed, but when it starts to get light Honey climbs up and lies down next to me, many times I notice when I am about to get up and I notice that she is very settled and sleeping deeply.
In Mily's case, even though she is also small, she is very lazy and is afraid to jump up to get into bed, but the times she saw Honey sleeping next to me she started to wake me up so I could get her up too, that's how my days went by at my mother's house.
Some nights I was just tired and didn't think much about hygiene, or anything, I would just let her climb into my bed to sleep and then I would end up putting Mily up so she wouldn't get jealous and also so she would let me sleep, she is one of those little dogs that is very insistent, so the only option she gave me was to put her up so I could continue doing it myself.
A pesar de que en otras oportunidades las he montado en mi cama pero solo de a ratitos para que juguemos y ya, durante esos días que estuve de visita me gustó dormir con ellas, mis perritas son tan tiernas y peludas que parecen parte de mis cojines y almohadas y debo confesar que agradezco mucho que no suelten pelos por todos lados.
Ya de vuelta a casa, he tratado de mantener la rutina con Mily al dormir pero creo que ya se acostumbró a que a media noche la suba a la cama para dormir conmigo, a pesar de que Honey no está con nosotros, a veces la veo dormir tan profundo que he llegado a pensar que de verdad disfrutan dormir conmigo, tal vez sea porque se sienten más seguras al tenerme cerca.
No he podido evitar escribirle a mi madre para saber acerca del comportamiento de Honey con ella después que me fui y resulta que de vez en cuando también se sube a la cama con mi madre, aunque ella es un poco más estricta que yo y para nada le gusta que se suba a su cama, Honey es muy astuta y sigilosa, así que cuando mi madre se levanta de dormir encuentra a Honey muy relajada durmiendo a su lado.
Although in other opportunities I have put them in my bed but only for a few moments to play and that's it, during those days I was visiting I enjoyed sleeping with them, my dogs are so cute and furry that they seem part of my cushions and pillows and I must confess that I am very grateful that they do not shed hair all over the place.
Back home, I have tried to keep the sleeping routine with Mily but I think she is used to me putting her to bed with me in the middle of the night, even though Honey is not with us, sometimes I see her sleeping so deep that I have come to think that they really enjoy sleeping with me, maybe it is because they feel safer having me close to them.
I couldn't help but write to my mother to find out about Honey's behavior with her after I left and it turns out that from time to time she also climbs into bed with my mother, although she is a little stricter than me and doesn't like me climbing into her bed at all, Honey is very sly and stealthy, so when my mother gets up from sleeping she finds Honey very relaxed sleeping next to her.
Sin darme cuenta ya no me siento tan incómoda con mis perros en la cama, confieso que disfruté ver a Honey y a Mily muy placenteras durmiendo a mi lado y eso me hace muy feliz, así que de vez en cuando me complace subir a Mily a la cama y que duerma la siesta conmigo.
Algunos estudios dicen que es beneficioso dormir con nuestras mascotas y esos días he podido comprobar que sí, cuando tengo a Mily en la cama me siento protegida porque los animales sobre todo los perros pueden detectar cualquier sonido extraño cerca de las casas y al tenerla más cerquita me da tranquilidad de aviso anticipado.
Otro punto a favor de mis perritas para dormir con ellas es que caen como un tronco😹, es decir, se quedan dormidas profundamente y como tengo el sueño bastante liviano no me genera ninguna molestia durante toda la noche. Después de hacerlo varias veces me he sentido más a gusto con mis perros en la cama y trato de hacerlo solo cuando ellas quieren para que no se les haga costumbre, ya que me gusta mantener mi espacio, por lo menos en la cama😹.
Without realizing it I no longer feel so uncomfortable with my dogs in bed, I confess that I enjoyed seeing Honey and Mily very pleasantly sleeping next to me and that makes me very happy, so from time to time I am pleased to put Mily up to bed and have her take a nap with me.
Some studies say that it is beneficial to sleep with our pets and those days I have been able to prove that yes, when I have Mily in bed I feel protected because animals especially dogs can detect any strange sounds near the houses and having her closer gives me peace of mind of early warning.
Another point in favor of my little dogs to sleep with them is that they fall like a log😹, that is, they fall asleep deeply and as I am a fairly light sleeper it does not generate any discomfort throughout the night. After doing it several times I have felt more comfortable with my dogs in bed and I try to do it only when they want to so they don't get used to it, since I like to keep my space, at least in bed😹.

Hygiene is important when you have pets, despite all the positive aspects of having a pet at home, each one must have its space. Although sleeping for a while with them, it only shows when you love each other.
