Most people are stuck in the beginner mode of Chat GPT. You can literally get your shit done within a few seconds if you spend 10-15 minutes crafting a perfect prompt.
Back in December when I started playing with Chat GPT, my prompts were mostly one-liners, and of course, they sucked. Hence my outputs were ordinary & sometimes even worse.
So I decided to learn how to create impactful prompts. Even asked ChatGPT to be a prompt engineer expert and explain how to construct a prompt to get the desired output. 😂
After 4 months of research, I have come up with a structure that works for me. There have been days when I used to put myself in front of Chat GPT and tried any scenario I can think of as a creator, marketer, and solopreneur. Just to see how it can solve my problems.
I am pretty sure this will give you more ideas on how you can craft your own prompts depending on your specific needs. For example, indie projects on Hive don't need to hire a copywriter or writer to write their website copy and content. They can do it themselves if they are tight on budget and most of them are when they are starting out.

I feel you, I have been too but practice makes perfect, as @finguru mentioned below, a bit of practice every day will make you understand it better. As well as read his tips about how to properly use it. Very helpful.

I like the idea of a prompt and it's something good to keep in mind I do use AI. After all, leaving things to be vague will leave more things up to chance and it might not return what you need. Being more concise is always better.

LMAO. Sorry for the bad sentence structure mate. How you got the point.
I wanted to say that if you don't spend time in crafting the prompt then it would take hours for you to get your work done and that too with low quality.
Well, the most powerful weapon is still useless to those that cannot wield it.
These are way better directions with clarity to the poor AI trying to do its job. It can get frustrating when one's prompt does not work.

You’ve done a great job highlighting the salient points.
Asking ChatGPT to help with prompt generation is particularly powerful.
Also, keep in mind that ChatGPT has zero memory (other than about 4,000 tokens that are exclusive to the current chat session), so there are certain things it simply cannot do, like generate exact quotes from anything other than a document you give it.
Also, the reliability of its results should always be viewed with skepticism. I recently asked for advice about training a dog and was told to put the dog in time-out or to take away privileges whenever the dog disobeys. LOL!
😂😂 Sometimes I get crazy responses too. We are still early.
Although it doesn't do a perfect job everytime but I get surprised whenever I use it.

That limit is only a concern if you want it to analyze a document you provide. Once you exceed that limit, it is no longer analyzing the original document. It is analyzing its own summary of the original document, so information may be missing or errant in the analysis.
There is also a 2,500 +/- token limit per prompt. So even if you have a 4,000-word document to analyze, you have to give it in two pieces and instruct ChatGPT to concatenate them into a single document for analysis.
