Compared to the predatory ads most other websites have, or pay walls, etc, I don't think they're that bad.

Yeah, but for first comers readers (or expecially first times you post in a sub) it's not a great presentation...also on mobile is right above the title, like even before you start reading you see ads and then down right before comments, big and easy to misspress... in 2 different communities they started complain for ads so i switched to ecency or hive.blog and it's going good
If sharing a link is risky (like in a strict or new subreddit), I avoid using PeakD links because of the mobile ads - after I learned that from you a couple of weeks ago. 👍
