What's the reason that the bots don't work with X/Twitter's API anymore? API changes that you haven't been able to look at or has uncle Elon put it behind a paywall?
Nothing wrong with Reddit, but due to the ease of access I feel like conversions through X/Twitter are easier (just a wild guess of course). It just be great if the quality of the Tweets could also be taken into account
It was, twitter was the main function for POSH before the API changes, now to be able to handle our requests we'd have to get the highest tier which is $42,000/month.
42K a month? That's just crazy
I don't really remember how it works. But in case it was constantly scraping twitter to search for the POSH hashtag, would it bee been much cheaper to create a simple front-end where verified users can once a day submit the URL to a tweet?
This way you also promote quality over quantity on Twitter. I might be completely wrong about how it works of course.
I remember when the posh hashtag was going turbo mode on Twitter, the influx of new users on Hive was also great. It became even too spammy to my liking at some point, but my god was it effective.
