I think seeking crypto investors misses the point, because a censorship-resistant blog is a valuable idea that requires bloggers and commenters to work. We need the critical mass of active users long term.

It may be time to switch audiences. Here in the US under Biden and the COVID regime (which started under Trump), the right felt both real and imagined threats to free speech. Now with Trump in office again and considerable uproar over issues like immigration and international relations taking the spotlight, the left may be open to a freer platform. I think they generally have a worse grasp on economics, but they may be more open to free speech protection now.
