Hey everyone, wanted to drop in a quick transparency update post since our last one.
Not too much has occurred since then, we've hosted a Splinterlands x POSH contest/giveaway recently which is still ongoing for those interested: https://peakd.com/hive-197333/@acidyo/posh-x-splinterlands-contest
We received a sponsorship of Splinterlands packs for this contest and threw in ~375 of our own Hive to buy up 5000 SPS to go along with it for the contest - the contest will be a 2-parter so only half of the assets are being given away at this time as we weren't sure of the participation as Reddit is quite different to figure out for newbies. Either way, the contest is meant to invite new people such as SPL players to sign up on hiveposh.com so that when they share SPL content on Reddit they can earn POSH + hive rewards from the shares when/if we curate them. So far so good, we'll let it run for a few more days then conclude that contest!
Since our last update, we've fixed that weird bug that wasn't sending out POSH rewards to delegators on random days thanks to @hivetrending for taking a look!
In terms of spending we have allocated:
320 HBD to @macchiata for an onboarding initiative she'll be running alongside an organization in Indonesia, more info on that I'm sure will be shared soon!
The other onboarding initiative we had planned hasn't had much progress yet so no funds have yet been used towards it!
Other than that we've spent 441.448 hive on POSH buyback + adding liquidity to the liquidity pool.
We also removed a little liquidity recently as our "hive power feeless liquidation service @nomnomnomnom" required more liquids to give out to @redditposh shares earners, the hive sent there isn't "spent" per se but locked up as stake so it can continue to liquidate the comment rewards so the sharers and authors receive 100% of the rewards in liquid hive. We'll have to start a bigger unstake there soon and hope it won't be as hungry any more as Hive is getting quite expensive again. ^^
Total amount sent to @nomnomnomnom for liquidity since last update is: 946.41 hive.
To avoid any suspicions, we also wanted to note here that @poshtoken.wallet also maintains its own Zing holdings, this is mostly 50% of the Zing it received as airdrop from having kickstarted Holozing, whereas the other 50% went to other POSH holders at the time. We are mentioning this because you may see poshtoken.wallet withdraw Hive from Layer 2 and purchase Alpha Vial packs, we don't want that confused with rewards we are generating using posts and from delegations, those are only meant to aid the POSH price and liquidity - not assist poshtoken.wallet in further increasing its zing holdings. It has only purchased vials so far by selling off some Zing it has held.
