The new micoblogging app from Leofinance in the next 4-6 weeks will really help to attract those people. It is going to give them something they are accustomed to. Let's be honest, most people on twitter are not long form content creators.

It will have its own tokenomics which will operate outside of Hive (although overlap some). The application will also utilize comments when posting to the blockchain as opposed to posts. This prevents the cluttering up of people's feeds, doesnt mess up autovoters, and allows people to post as often as they want.
Also, there will be a feed into twitter directly from the application meaning that it can essentially operate as a twitter front end while protecting all data created in the account since all activity is on the blockchain.
