I'm a bit confused with the whole GOSH thing, it's not as straightforward as other things with the redditposh system and contests. It will take me more time to adjust and figure out this GOSH thing.
It's nothing else than: if someone wants their posts shared by others, they can invite all HivePoshers who were active in the last contest. Nobody has to do this and nobody should re-pay for this. But if you see @theworldaroundme or anybody else invites you, rush to share in the best possible sub - if you believe the suggested post will work well. If you feel the suggested post is weak, you can ignore the GOSH invite.
You can invite too when you want - maybe never, many tomorrow - up to you. For example, you wrote a post - spent 3 hours, shared it, and the post was deleted immediately - you'll earn 0.2 $HIVE or so for 3 hours of work. You can use the GOSH command to invite everyone. If someone shares your post well and earns 20$ Redditposh rewards, you'll have 20% as an author - 4$. That's good for you. Secondly, you'll help HivePosh as a whole and Hive blockchain - more shares, more views, more visits from Reddit to Hive.
The downside is: someone can generate more views than you as the result of your GOSH invite and you'll miss a medal in the HivePosh contest.
I don't mind this, as it is a way to give others a chance while not limiting how much you can do, and it also helps Hiveposh and Hive in general, and it builds teamwork.

Don't think so. Some hot articles from news outlets are obviously shared dozens of times. Some subreddits can be more picky, however... But we can't please each sub... Recently, I was banned in r/ Serbia "for sharing a link for personal gain" - the share was popular actually - was interesting for their readers (a Celtic village in Serbia). But these commies, lol, hate other people's profit so - burn in hell, r/ Serbia, lol.

I shared it now in Europe subreddit given most mentioned countries are from Europe - not flying but also not deleted yet - but will Gosh later for you guys - maybe with a different/smart header that should fit for sure in all mentioned subs

It was a good test this week, and I enjoyed it. The only downside is that I lost half of the reward, especially the big ones. The good thing, however, is that it pushes views and gives us confidence to get into the news subs, ike @davideownzall, who found an awesome sub, r/awesome. You have also massively improved your ability to jump from one sub to another. Thatโs one of the great things about GOSH. We built teamwork, so winning is for everyone, though Iโm not sure how others perceive this. :)
I agree with all points - the perception of others is a different one. When I take a look at most viewed posts (just on Peakd) I become a bit frightened :-):

Really, why do they ask that, maybe look at the content and ask why the content has views, it isn't about the person. Reddit is honest, views come from people. That's the good thing, no one can pump up your article there, if it is shit, people are not shy to downvote or report you or banned or get filtered. And we do not know anyone on Reddit, well not me, I started from scratch when @x-rain suggested I open a Reddit account. We learned the hard way.:)
Correction and I beg your pardon, some articles are not necessarily shit (excuse my word) Reddit has got a different way of viewing things, first self promotion is a big no no on most of them.

An interesting topic - just to explain what some people think. Sicne Steemit days we had discussion why trending would be full of shit posts without engagement. Here we have the issue (in my view) on peakd trending / most viewed when people see always the same are on top and they see hardly comments / discussion below the post and even hardly rewards or all payouts declined/burned whatever - some people become nervous and ask. And when they start asking it could lead to other things (some accounts are already on certain lists and het flagged).
Just wanna raise it - as i know how people could react here - today / yesterday was a special day though in terms of this "most viewed" area.
And 99% on Hive do not understand Reddit and hardly know about our initiative to drive traffic. Just a heads-up
