RE: 1.2 Million Views for Hive Links This Week! πŸš€ Join Our Link Sharing Rodeo on Reddit to Win Prizes! πŸ‘‡ HivePosh Contest #45

in HivePosh β€’ last month

Sure appealing - to look, upvote, and scroll down without clicking the Hive link, even seeing the Hive link. Today, we had an example of an image link share with 1200 upvotes and only 20 Hive page views. What is even more appealing in image shares - how easily anybody can manipulate Reddit views with them - you can generate "Trump idiot" AI images several days ago, post them on PeakD Snaps and share them everywhere on Reddit - almost zero Hive link views will follow but a plethora of Reddit views to win a contest prize. Another cool manipulation: generating images with expressions of the great people - would fit almost any sub - potential dozens of thousands of views on Reddit and almost zero Hive page views. Sure there are many more cool ways to steal contest prizes with image link shares. But happily they are not allowed in the contest.

Reddit is a really odd place to understand 🀣 didn't imagine that silly AI generated content could go that strong there... I also found that even in "link" mode reddit shows the thumbnail of the post, so my original concern fades out.

Reddit is a really odd place to understand

It is.

Reddit is not Reddit, every sub is different, certain subs attack me as they claim my share would be AI - text and visual - some are totally different and even in same subs it changes when ceertain mods are on vacation.

That sounds crazy... not sure it's a place I can stick to. Let's in a few weeks if I can achieve something or if my energies are better focused here on Hive.

it is a learning curve and sometimes even fun - currently discussion on there which is pretty ok

And I know one sub where saying "the post is AI!!" isn't allowed πŸ˜„

Which one? There are tons :-)
