RE: 51 Active HivePosh Users and 1.8 Million Views for Hive Links on Reddit This Week! πŸ™‚πŸ‘ HivePosh Contest #54

in HivePosh β€’ 7 days ago

I got filtered two times, once, in r/veganrecipes for sharing images with a link in the body - after a period of regular, monotonous sharing. The same happened in c/cryptocurrency (when they filtered out a share of mine after it generated 10 upvotes or so) - i had been sharing for 2 months or so, precisely 3 times a week.

The conclusions: when they see a pattern of the bot, they start filtering.

But anyway I agree this filter thing is unpredictable.

So you say I try and share text or image rather than link share? It won't be valid for the contest but for normal rewards

I just described my experience of getting filtered. I didn't mean you should share through other types of posts.

But, yes, you can do it... I share both through link-type and image-type posts.

Yeah I mean to change the pattern

I guess it might help - just to dissolve your normal activity with other types of things. You can also create posts without links, like, ask something in r/AskReddit or join a discussion of a series you like - series often have a sub.

As they say:

It's perfectly fine to be a redditor with a website, it's not okay to be a website with a reddit account.

I personally try to be active in different ways but get too tired with online.
