Bilingual posts can also be risky - some mods can take a look at the first paragraph and conclude: "that's not English, bye-bye".

I am pretty sure, that is because of a snitch in r/nottheonion who reported us as spammers, and unfortunately, the mod acted immediately without proper judgment, even removing the reporter's own comment afterward. What's frustrating is that this person, who made the complaint, hasn’t contributed anything to Reddit since 2016.
Meanwhile, we’ve been putting in the effort to share good, useful content on Reddit. I’ve messaged the mods politely and hope they’ll reconsider our presence in r/nottheonion and other subs.
Sometimes you just run into a few resentful people who don’t have the guts to create something of their own, but are quick to complain about what others are capable of doing, unfortunately.

Hahah, not so sure, but I got what you mean. If you live here, most are like NotTheOnion, like saying funny things but with a serious face. And the pun and wordplay with twists and a few meanings, some are pretty clever, that you’ll hear around here a lot. I know one here that does that, but she’s Irish, @deirdyweirdy, haha. Well, we are neighbours. So if you read most of her posts, you’ll get a few clues. Haha.
