The Hive platform is the best platform I have come across; it gives the user full ownership. Hive is a web3 platform and decentralised. I can’t even imagine comparing these two platforms because web3 is far better than web2. It has many benefits. When it comes to web2, the users can never have full access to their account; they are limited to the app. Hive is far better than centralised social media. People keep singing praise of web3 because it gives its own sense of belonging. You have full access to your accounts with no 3rd party.
Here in the Hive blockchain, we can post and share anything you want; nobody will restrict you from anything. Nobody has the capacity to bring down your post. Unlike Web 2, you are restricted from posting some things, and when you succeed in posting content that is not permitted on the site, you will be restricted.
When it comes to web 2 platforms, you have to put in a lot of effort for your account to be verified before you can earn from the platform. I have a friend of mine who has been creating content for some years now; to this date, her account has not been verified. While in Hive, I get paid for every content I publish in the blockchain; every time I spend in the blockchain turns to earnings for me, while in web 2, I waste my time without earning. Hive is one platform that will motivate and inspire you.
Hive is one platform that is transparent, and it expects its users to be transparent and creative as well. Hive is that platform that you can’t photocopy someone else on; it wants to know how creative you are. Hive is one of the platforms that brought out the hidden talent. Unlike Web 2, you will see thousands of people copying a particular content creator to recreate the same video. Hive is one platform where you can’t copy someone else’s work without giving credit to the person.
One thing that drags me to the blockchain is the full control of ownership. For the majority of the web 2 accounts I have, I don’t have full access to them. I can make a post, and they will bring it down; they even go as far as banning me from using their app. The high sense of community and ownership in Hive is top-notch.
I see a future in Hive. I always tell people I can’t count my success story without mentioning Hive. The blockchain has really helped me on this journey; it has rebuilt, inspired and motivated me.
