Good day, amazing people of the Hive Blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #indiaunited community. I am so delighted to participate in this week's prompt, "What Do You Think About the Wars Happening Around the World?"
I don’t know if there is anything that scares me like war, although I haven’t faced war before, but watching other countries on television fighting makes me sad. There are some countries that have been fighting wars; the effects of these wars have really been devastating, and they have also affected other neighboring countries close to them. Where there is war, the country will not progress, and there will be no peace in the country. The main part is it will affect the economy of the country.
Believe me, nothing good comes out of war because both countries will suffer. One thing that scares me about war is the loss of life. I swear, during war people are killed like chickens. There is no day that I will turn on my television set or radio without hearing news of a country fighting. Most times I always ask myself, is this fight really necessary? Does that mean that we humans can't live in peace and harmony?
Currently now there are many ongoing wars in the world presently, and it is not a good thing that a nation will rise against another. This is why I keep asking myself, 'Why do people go into war knowing full well that it will affect the country's economy and cause loss of life? Why do we keep going into the battlefield?' One thing I know is that war cannot just start; most times it is misunderstanding between leaders, competition of powers, land dispute, etc. It's not about going to war; we should think about the effect of the war before we embark on war. I have not experienced any war, but the story my grandfather told me about war scared me about how life was very hard for him. War is one thing I don't pray to witness.
Since I was a child, I have been hearing of this war between Russia and Ukraine, and now the United States and Israel have joined forces to wage war against Iran. One big question I keep asking is, 'Is this war really necessary? Can't the dispute be settled without going to war?' I am not from these countries, but I feel their pains and am so heartbroken seeing the damage this war is causing to the world economy. I will not lie; I so much dislike being in the gathering, and the topic will be on going to war.
I always tell people there is nothing better than living in peace with people. War can never be a solution to a problem; there are many ways we can solve a problem without going into war. I understand that this can't be done overnight, but we should try to be advocates of peace wherever we see ourselves.
