The skill was attention.
Not mindfulness, not breathing exercises, not the performance of being calm.
It was noticing.
Noticing when I lied to myself without needing a reason.
The fears and motivations I had cultivated over the years.
The fear of being misunderstood.
I noticed what people told me and what they persisted on.
I noticed how I kept giving people what they wanted, often without realizing it, and how they seemed to do the same unconsciously.

The things I had been delaying were not because I needed time.
It was something else.
I was part of it too.
When I felt anger, I recognized the bias with which I was moving.
This constant internalizing was strenuous, and it did not help me become better.
It only made me heavier.
Noticing things was only part of it.
The other part was seeing the veils people wear, and the ones I wore myself.
Over time, this habit of noticing and internalizing pushed me into areas where I could excel.
Anything that involved patterns, signals, or underlying structures started to make sense to me.
I could see repetitions before they fully formed, tendencies before they became outcomes.
Attention did not make me calmer.
It made me precise.
I will just give one example of what I am talking about.
I had been working on a site for a while, quite crypto focused. I found a recurring pattern that when I rolled or opened a box with tokens, it had options of miners, which can be sold for crypto or just progress better.
Even though I found this, I had no idea that it was unusual, and I was selling in bulk amounts.
The thing about the pattern was that it had continuous patterns. It would vary, and my job was to find which streak I was in.
Contrary to many, that good luck is on its way.
When I rolled higher, I continued.
Because the pattern was continuous streaks.
The mistake I made was just not thinking about the economy of that and getting greedy.
People were reporting this to the admin, asking why this player was able to sell so many.
It could work in any aspects. Practicing makes you apply them.
The difficulty is never to find such patterns, but to be able to understand the difference and be subtle about it.
