Firts of all a thousand dollar is us currency currency and in nigeria, a dollar rate is between 1350-1400 naira. exchanging 1000 dollar it to my country's currency (naira) will give you around 1.4million (checked under 1,350 naira) which almost 2million naira.
To average man, 2million can go a long way depending on what you use it to do. So the prompt ask us "if we get a thousand dollar, what's are going to do with it"
Money is a catalyst and it changes people, there are some that will be managing themselves but the moment money enters their hand. They go wild, spending extravagantly.
For me, when i get such amount, First of all, the money is strictly going to be used for things urgent and crucial.
For me, as a little content creator on YouTube that loves creating, I'll use some of the money to boost my youtube video.
And also as a students, i noticed that school students eat alot after lectures. Maybe i could start a little turnover by selling students daily needs like snacks, books, pen etc.
I cannot just say I'll use the whole money for investment, I'll try to enjoy a little by buying new outfits, give myself some treats like going on no much cost vacation or outing.
I know alot people would love to save money in their banks, and in return their banks pay them a little interest. But surprisingly, banks use your money you save to do business.
Best to make money is grow is not by locking it but by investing it which i strongly vouch for.
Lastly, there are some that are upcoming, i will buy, these are long term investments. I remember a friend who bought a coin last 5 years with just 100k, he nearly fought about the investment until late 2024 the coin elevated. And the money he invested turned to millions.
