Moniepoint is a leading Nigerian financial technology company and a fully licensed Microfinance Bank regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). It is more than simply an app to send money for me, and I would be explaining some of the app features and how it has made my life easier.
Firstly, for me, it has made transfers easier because ever since the bank was introduced to me, I have been enjoying a seamless transfer, and I have not experienced any major issues. Even when there is downtime, it is communicated to the user, and navigating the app was not difficult, as the UI is beautifully designed and simplified.
The second thing the app has made easier for me is savings. The app has helped me save as I transfer with a savings plan called “SAYT - Save as you transact”. I am currently using this because almost every day I transact either to buy data or pay bills, and so on, and for every transaction, I have instructed the app to save a particular amount.
The app offers other savings plans, such as flexible, fixed deposit, and target savings. A flexible savings plan is for those who intend to save for any period, with or without a goal, while Target Savings provides a structured and rewarding way to save toward any financial goal. The fixed deposit savings plan can be used when you want to commit a lump sum for a period of time and receive upfront interest.
I also get cashback for airtime, data, and bill purchases, and this has also helped me, especially when I am short on cash. Because of this, I find it more convenient to buy from my bank App than from any other place. Also, the banking app is of two types - The Personal and the Business App. The personal app is designed for everyday users who want a reliable alternative to traditional banks, while the business app is mainly designed for business owners. I personally use the Business App.
In Conclusion, this app has made my life easier and I have peace of mind knowing they have got my back.
