in my previous 2 post i talk about pilgrimage sites of uttarakhand and india. Today I'm gonna talk about pilgrimage sites of my home town Almora. Almora is situated in kumaon region (Uttarakhand).also I'm really grateful for the support all shown me in my previous two post. Because of the support I'm getting at my last two post it's motivating me upload new post everyday. again thank you all, So let's begin.

Introduction Of Almora

Almora is located on a southern edge of the kumaon hills of the Himalayan range. Almora district is famous for it's rich cultural heritage and delicious cousins. Almora is 1,638 meters above sea level. Almora district population as 2019 cencus is 1.01 lakhs . Almora destrict mother tongue is kumauni.

अल्मोड़ा हिमालय पर्वतमाला की कुमाऊँ पहाड़ियों के दक्षिणी किनारे पर स्थित है। अल्मोडा जिला अपनी समृद्ध सांस्कृतिक विरासत और स्वादिष्ट व्यंजनों के लिए प्रसिद्ध है। अल्मोडा समुद्र तल से 1,638 मीटर ऊपर है। 2019 की जनगणना के अनुसार अल्मोडा जिले की जनसंख्या 1.01 लाख है। अल्मोडा जिले की मातृभाषा कुमाउनी है।

Pilgrimage Sites Of Almora

Uttarakhand is known as dev bhoomi (The land of god). Uttarakhand is famous for all over the India for it's pilgrimage sites and chote char dham. Almora is famous for kasar devi temple, chitai golu devta temple and surya mandir katarmal temple.

उत्तराखंड को देव भूमि कहा जाता है। उत्तराखंड अपने तीर्थ स्थलों और छोटे चार धाम के लिए पूरे भारत में प्रसिद्ध है। अल्मोड़ा कसार देवी मंदिर, चितई गोलू देवता मंदिर और सूर्य मंदिर कटारमल मंदिर के लिए प्रसिद्ध है।

1 - Kasar Devi Temple

Almora is famous for kasar devi temple all over the world because of the enormous geomagnetic field or paramagnetism. Kasar devi become known when Swami Vivekananda visited kasar devi and meditate here in 1890s. And mentioned it's in his diarie and share there experienceby by his diarie. Kasar devi temple was built by king rudrak.

विशाल भू-चुंबकीय क्षेत्र या अनुचुंबकत्व के कारण अल्मोड़ा कसार देवी मंदिर के लिए दुनिया भर में प्रसिद्ध है। कसार देवी तब प्रसिद्ध हुई जब स्वामी विवेकानन्द ने 1890 के दशक में कसार देवी का दौरा किया और यहां ध्यान किया। और इसका उल्लेख अपनी डायरी में किया है और वहां का अनुभव अपनी डायरी द्वारा साझा किया है। कसार देवी मंदिर का निर्माण राजा रुद्रक ने करवाया था।

golu devata is a local deity. Golu deveta is worship as God Of Justice all over Uttrakhand. Every year millions of people come in chitai golu devta temple and worship them and dedicate prayer latter to god of justice for justice.

गोलू देवता एक स्थानीय देवता हैं। गोलू देवता को पूरे उत्तराखंड में न्याय के देवता के रूप में पूजा जाता है। हर साल लाखों लोग चितई गोलू देवता मंदिर में आते हैं और उनकी पूजा करते हैं और न्याय के लिए न्याय के देवता से प्रार्थना करते हैं।

3 - Surya Mandir Katarmal

Surya mandir temple is old more then 8 centuries. It's one of the oldest sun god temple in india. Surya mandir temple is built by katyuri king's. Surya mandir temple also known as bara aditya temple. Temple is dedicated to sun god.

सूर्य मंदिर 8 शताब्दी से भी अधिक पुराना है। यह भारत के सबसे पुराने सूर्य देव मंदिरों में से एक है। सूर्य मंदिर का निर्माण कत्यूरी राजा ने करवाया था। सूर्य मंदिर को बारा आदित्य मंदिर के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। यह मंदिर सूर्य देव को समर्पित है।
