What Advice Would You Give to Someone Leaving School Today? What is your honest take on this? What are the things you want to share with others?
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
As a school leaver, you're standing at the threshold of a new chapter in your life. The world is full of possibilities, and it's essential to be prepared, proactive, and fearless as you navigate your next steps. Here's my honest take on what I'd advise someone leaving school today:
My take on this
While in school, it's crucial to acquire a skill or two that can set you apart in the job market or enable you to start your own business. Whether it's coding, graphic design, writing, fashion designing, hair styling, patent medicine, welding, or a trade like electrical work or plumbing, having a skill can open doors to new opportunities. Don't rely solely on your academic qualifications; focus on developing practical skills that can help you earn a living. And the good thing is you can own a business or firm of your own while working too, if eventually you find a job, so that you practice what you studied in school.
I am a student studying Health Education at the University of Uyo, Nigeria, and I'm a perfume Vendor, hairstylist, and also an event usher.

Everything may not boom as it should but trust me it's helpful
My Advice
As you leave school, it's time to take responsibility for your life. Don't depend on your parents for everything; instead, focus on becoming independent. Learn to manage your finances, make smart decisions, and take calculated risks. This will help you build confidence, self-reliance, and a sense of purpose.
The job market is competitive, and white-collar jobs may not always be available. Instead of waiting for someone to offer you a job, focus on creating your opportunities. If you have a business idea, go for it! If you have a skill, use it to offer services to others. Be proactive, and don't be afraid to take the road less traveled.
If you're good at doing business, don't hesitate to start your venture. Entrepreneurship can be a rewarding and fulfilling experience, allowing you to create something from scratch and build a legacy. Identify your strengths, passions, and interests, and use them to drive your business forward.
While job hunting, make sure to tailor your applications to each job, highlighting your relevant skills and experiences. Network with people in your industry, attend job fairs, and be open to learning and growth. Don't get discouraged by rejections; instead, use them as opportunities to learn and improve.

Leaving school is just the beginning of a new journey. Be prepared, proactive, and fearless as you navigate the world. Acquire skills, be independent, create your opportunities, and don't be afraid to take risks. With hard work, determination, and resilience, you can achieve your goals and build a fulfilling life. Remember, it's not just about the destination; it's about the journey, the lessons you learn, and the person you become along the way.
