Oh!! What a wonderful feeling it is to be able to set a goal and finally reach it.
Although this one is not just my win, but with the help of wonderful Hive friends and the beautiful community, I was able to make it.
If you are unaware of my situation.. Well, here's a TL;DR:
A Hive Blogger of 8 years is reaching 5K today.
Well, to be honest, 5K is not that big of HP, but for someone like me who had been trying for so long, it's really a dream come true. For me, this 5k is the proof that if I really put myself into I can get things done. And the journey was very tough., But I pulled through. As for the HP..
Some came from post payouts.
Some came for engagement.
A friend helped me boost my curation rewards.
And some from trading off other tokens. I am not sure if that was a wise decision. I have to wait and see.
I can brag about how it took me 417 Posts, 5,782 comments, 5673 replies and 8 long years to reach this goal. And how am I a perfect example of slow and steady wins the race? LOL!! And you know what, the bigger flex that I achieved this without ever powering down. And here's the proof. Saying all these points out loud doesn't feel like flexing anymore.. LOL!!
The real factor is the commitment to the cause. If I go into the analysis mode, it would be a repeat of my HPUD post. So, let me skip all of that. And let me be thankful. And I am not going to set any immediate target now, because I still have to figure out a way to get consistent.
I want to thank the core members of IndiaUnited and the BeAwesome community. Some of the members are active, some are not. I am not taking names, but you all know who you are. You are the people who supported me through and through. You are the people who made me who I am, and yes, all the pointless blogs and bad jokes that I crack are on you guys.
I am going to keep this post short and get back to my celebrations. Otherwise, it won't take much time for me to put a list of things I failed this year.
