Technology: Making life easier or complicated?

Everyday we hear the word “Technology”. What does it really mean? For proper understanding, I will first state its meaning based on my perception. “Technology could be said to be the usage of scientific knowledge to perform various tasks in the industries, offices, homes, etc. For The purpose of making our work faster as well as reduce costs and improve lives.”
Before the invention of computers, telephone, mobile phones or the internet, to communicate with someone from a distance took time. Then, one would have to write a letter and send it through the post office, which takes weeks or even months before it gets to the receiver. But now, the case is different, through electronic mail, I can send and receive mail within seconds. I could also call on the phone , hear the person's voice or even see the person's face if I wish.
Everyday we get so busy with various schedules, come back home tired and worn-out. Yet, we're faced with some activities at home like, laundry, cooking, washing and cleaning. Doing all these could break one down, but with technology which helps one to multitask using washing machine, dish washer, electric/gas cooker, blender, one could do them in minutes without feeling it .
Through technology, a pregnant woman could know the sex and position of her baby even before delivery. Not only that, during delivery modern equipment is also used to facilitate it and curb mortality or complications that results from prolonged labour.
What about transportation? Before inventing cars, motorcycles and airplanes, people trek for miles before getting to their destination or use donkeys which also get tired, and it's not as fast as what we have now. Technology, no doubt, makes life easier and stress less.
However, the presence of these modern day technologies come with some disadvantages which also affect our health negatively. For instance heavy equipment installed in industries to make the work faster and reduce operational costs, emit toxins which pollute the air we breathe, thereby causing harzards to our body systems.
Again, the gadgets we use emit radiations which affects human cells and organs, thereby causing some hormones to malfunction, when this happens, it leads to so many health challenges. Little wonder why a lot of terminal diseases are common these days. Hence, limiting long usage is necessary, especially screen time.
Furthermore, technology which makes life easier has in turn made people unnecessarily lazy due to indiscipline and over reliance on some of these equipment. For instance, cars ease our movement, but we shouldn't neglect the fact that walking improves health. While the washing machine or dishwasher is faster, sometimes doing it with our hands is good which is exercise and enhances health too.
In conclusion, technology has so many advantages that make life easier. But it also comes with so many disadvantages that threaten human health. These left me with the conclusion that the advent of technology makes life easier, yet complicated.

Technology is makes our livelihood easy.
The introduction of technology is a testament.
It has continued to add endless value to our lives .
The opportunities that technology created is overwhelming.
But one way or the other, the over dependence and negative energy from ulterior motives of users.
A lot of audio money being thrown around and fake lifestyle seen by weaker minds on social platforms are sending those ones to depression.This out to be so.
There is a need for control and balance d
That's why I laugh at people who get carried away and measure themselves by what they see online. Fake lives!
